THIS IS A FUKINNN SHAME!!!! THESE NINJAS HOLLERIN THEY WANT NEW UNIFORMS TOO. SMDH.

THIS MAKES ME FUKKKINNN SICK TO MY STOMACH!!!!

Really? I guess this such an emtional moment for these students they are just venting out what ever comes to mind.

What gets me is they are swinging at Grambling's administration, but they hit them on the shoulder and it bounced off and hit Jackson State dead in the mouth. They could have played this week and boycotted next week when Grambling had a home game against Tex Southern. But this hurts Jackson State far more that it hurts Grambling. All of the game day worker, venders, etc. that have nothing to do with this are hurt. That is why I don't have that much support for this.

Great point!

So these kids are supposed to go on another road trip where they may not get fed properly? Isn't that one of their complaints? I don't blame them one bit.

@bomani_jones: cuz see, the heartbreaking part about the grambling sitch is the ppl who can REALLY change things give not a damn and never have.

Again IF This Is True Then I Have Officially LOST ALL RESPECT For Grambling And Their History And Tradition!! All the Work That Coach Eddie Robinson did to build the Grambling Football Program will be Null and Void as if he never existed in my mind!
AS A JSU OLD SCHOOL TIGER, THIS BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYES!!!

I concur

You can bet they would have treated them right on this trip because all eyes would have been on the admin. But after waiting 30 days to talk to these kids, it's too late...

Teachers protest in the middle of the school year all the time, even causing kids to miss school and stay at home. Is that what's best for the kids. Sure, they could wait until after the school year when it's "more convenient." This is nothing new. Those kids are taking a stand, and I don't blame them one bit if all of this is true.

Don't cry. Donate money to Grambling. Shit, we all should donate to Grambling instead of worrying about homecoming. This is bigger than football.

What happened to HBCUs and the alumni fostering a nurturing environment for student-athletes unlike those PWCs that really don't care about them?

All I'm reading is folks wanting kids kicked outta school and their scholarships taken away,

You've been getting in some zingers over the past few days.

Jackson State can just remove them from the schedule next time. As a matter of fact, this is probably the beginning of Gram's total athletic program demise. Recruitment will definitely suffer this off season as well as next. Enrollment will certainly be impacted by this, so you can likely expect for record low enrollment next year. State funding is already on a downturn and couple with lack of interest in attending the school because all of their sports programs or weak, and you have the pieces of the puzzle in place for Gram to go down the path of Morris Brown! :shame:

Sadly this behavior puts all of our programs on notice. Now there is going to be even more scrutiny and a "closer eye" on all of our programs and internal situations. This is only the beginning of a major fire storm in HBCU sports in general.

Damn you Gram!

What about the contract they signed before? They made their case, but these guys are taking it to another level without waiting to let the administration right the situation after they've made their stand.

So we're gonna act like the kids not getting adequately fed isn't a violation of the scholarship?

If it isn't, that's a problem. These boys are out there burning off all kind of calories & energy. The least the school could do is adjust resources for their nutrition.

Ya'll are some sick sap suckas for dissing the players on this. If that was YOUR kid not getting fed to play FOOTBALL, you would be raising hell too.

And if those kids hadn't taken this stance, it would've been more of the same ole shit.

COSIGN!!

Grambling should just forfeit the rest of the season and get their house in order. Because it's going to take a lot to straighten this mess out.

But I heard they did get fed, but I guess they didn't get fed "enough" by their standards. And why are we taking the opinions of freaking 18, 19, 20 year olds as the gospel. That's the damn problem with this generation! We are letting the kids rule us!

It's really national now. ESPN's Bob Ley just reported the buses left GSU empty and College Football Live will have more.

The civil rights movement was empowered by 18, 19, and 20 year olds....

This is not a "Whistleblower" situation. If you tell on your boss, thats fine, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO COME TO WORK IF YOU WANT TO GET PAID. They have told, and have the public attention they were looking for.

you best believe that this is a whistleblower situation. If this is true, and Gram cuts scholarships in response to these kids actions then betchu by golly they have grounds under whistleblower.
