glad gram was unable to schedule the ohio state as I heard would have happened if not for this game. no way ohio state wouldn't have scored 110 on gram.

So where does the visiting band sit? No more 5th qtrs?

Jax St. sat around the 5-10 yard line near the NE Endzone and Skegee sat around the 5-10 yardline SE Endzone on the visitors side last year. During the Skegee game ASU sat directly across the field on the home side in that game.

I guess the visiting band sits on the home side...with all of their fans (I'm totally confused)

there is no home or visitor side. both bands sit on the north side of the stadium. the visitor's band sits at about the 5 yard line and bama state sits at about the other 20.
as to why. where the band would sit on the south side, press box side, those are some good seats, that fans are willing to pay for, so they've been made available for purchase by moving the band.

Makes Sense, Plus you will always have a crowd on the visitor side sitting by the Band..

I'm trying to figure out why they didn't make both sides the same length, width, depth and heighth. Who makes a big side and small side stadium anymore?

Bama State's stadium is on the right path. If you look at any of the other schools especially in the FBS there is home side or visitors side. There is a "visitor section". Arkansas' band sits the same way. On or about the 20 yard line while the visitors section is about from the 5 yard line and stretches to the 20 on the with end of the stadium because it is a horseshoe.

Alabama State is no Arkansas as far attendance but I see where they are going. Basically 90% of the stadium is home team seating.

It's called building a stadium within their budget. They wanted their pressbox and their suites to be located on the home side, which is pretty much customary. Later on, they might decide to add more seats on the visitors side in the future. Liberty University did the same thing when they added on their stadium.

They did it for future growth and expansion. That “small side” can be expanded to be identical to the large side; the end zone will be enclosed with seating and a field house that is planned for the stadium. The stadium can be expanded to 50,000-55,000 seats with a field house included. Bama State did not go with the cheap metal stadiums like many schools are building, they chose to go with quality.

ASU only had approximately $60 million to build a stadium. I'm sure in 5 to 10 years they would have $20 to $25 million to make additions. Some folks don't understand the concept of crawling before you walk. Even some of the large programs, such as Bama, LSU, Texas initial stadiums only seated 20k to 30k, now some of these same stadiums seats approximately 100k plus with luxury suites.

You're sure? And who gave you this inside information to make you so sure?

Dude, those stadiums were built back in the pre-1950's at that size when football wasn't as popular nor as lucrative. LOL!

Trolling for what? The average stadium being built today is the normal half and half for both home and visitors side. I simply asked why not go the extra mile and get it all done at once.
Most folks know that once our school stops the initial building, it takes an arm and leg to get added on features and funding approval for it.
Just ask su how long it took them to get bathrooms and running water added to Mumford.

The lower bowl is the same. what's missing is the upper deck and the suites and loge seating in between. if they ever get to expansion of the north side it will look just like the south side minus the press box

that's what they are working on...trying to get supporters to recognize they have to support their program, not other team's fans. otherwise you don't truly have a home field advantage. GET THOSE SEASON TICKETS!

will be nice if they ever get to the point that they have to build those seats. 1st they've got to match the better fcs progams in attendance like app state and ndsu. then they'll need those seats.
