I see your point bruh. We have to realize that in order to in politics in America, to lead a company or in fact to be truthful to experience the American dream of what some folks call it, one has to make a choice, to live a simple life or sell your soul. That is the American way.

I comfortable in living a simple life. Im a simple man who wants a family to provide and break bread with, if we as black men get back to this a lot of things will change. It will take time but we have to get back to being family orientated.

Think about this Cee and I want your opinion on it. "The War on Terror" is an excuse to stop Africa and the middle east of controlling the world. We all know a lot of products are made from oil. Cell phone charger, TV's, remotes, anything basically black comes from oil. Its all around us bruh we cant stop it, America knows this as well. What if those countries in Africa and the middle east unified and decided to cut off that supply to US? They come to the conclusion that the only way you can buy oil now is with gold, your US dollar holds no merit anymore. That would be catastrophic to an already unstable economy. The government wont allow that to happen so they invade those countries to stop any unification. They dont want a leader over there making things happen because of those reasons. Anytime a person becomes too powerful or a influential leader he will be killed. History shows us this...

With that being said, Obama promised a lot of things that he hasn't delivered on. One example was that told us he would send the troops home yet they are still over there fighting a never ending battle. Its like he is focused on whats happening over seas than whats going on in his own back yard. Our people are dying everyday and we aint doing shit about it.....
 
I will watch the video when I get home tonight. They block all stuff like that where I work. Don't get me wrong i see your point. I have just learned as I get older that the American dream was not created for me or my family, that is why it is up to me to get what I can out of it and make it work. My parents taught me not to wait or depend on anyone to feed me but myself. if they won't give it to me, I just take it by the way I need too.

The problem with many black people is they expect President Obama to be Moses or Jesus and solve all of the nations problems. Some people will never understand that the President is only human and does the best that he can with the hand that he has been dealt. There are checks and balances in our system of government which consist of three branches (executive, judicial and legislative). This is not a dictatorship where the president can do as he please. You are dealing with an obstructionist legislative branch as well as a conservative judicial branch. Those that believe the President hasn't done his best, outline what he should have done as well as whether his executive authority covers this endeavor. If you can't shut the hell up.

Nah, the reality of the situation is that most of US only voted for him for one reason to begin with.

Exactly.

People act like Barack Obama is a dictator or a king. Act like he sits on a throne, makes a decree and it automatically becomes the law of the land. It doesn't quite work that way. This man wakes up every morning and has to work with people who hate him - people who are doing everything in their power to see him fail - in order to try to get something done.

Yet, we have people like Tavis and Cornel sitting back pointing fingers talking about "see, he's not doing anything for Black people". You would think they understand our system of government and our history better than that. Actually, they do but they sit back and criticize for a reason. I'll let you all figure out what that reason is.

It's easy to criticize. Anybody can do that. If Tavis and Cornel were really serious about the state of Black people they would help the man. Get in the fight and fight with him, not against him. That's too hard for "Black intellectuals" though. Black intellectuals just talk ... and criticize. Actually doing something is much too difficult.
