Black social media and Father's day

Loyalty & Respect
Why is it that black people (particularly black women to keep it 100) use father's day to vocalize their issues on social media with their father or for women, their baby's father? I have never seen anyone bash their mother or baby mother on mother's day, no matter how bad of a parent they may have been. I am coming to believe that the black community has no appreciation of fatherhood.

It's finally sunk in huh?

Man it's really no way to describe the level of hatred these women have not only for the men that they chose to have babies for, but how obvious this goes far into the reality of their mental state of not having to be accountable for any choice they make.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Racist and bitter black women are our worst enemy.

I asked last year on FB could they Just let US have one day in peace without the bitter bullisht. Clearly we can't.

Then they have the nerve to get any attitude when a black man is with somebody outside their race

Black people as a whole are caught up in recurring negative cycles that are so entrenched, they'd rather fight than change. Even when you agree to try to take back to the same page...there will be some that won't work with the program because their negativity about whatever situation won't let them. Black women this issue, black men that issue...a jab here...an uppercut there...slick statements are a waste because in the end...overall, our race is spiraling down in a negativity mess with only the bottom as a realistic goal unless something changes.

Black women like to have babies by thugs and no good men, then use the hell out of good black men.

Damn, I never thought I'll say this about something you type, but I agree with you 110%.

...I've said it before and I'll say it again...in today's society, you are better off hiring an escort, smash, not have to worry the next day. They are cheaper and they don't put the good black man through hell. Some of you all say its nasty, but I've known Federal Employee Black Women who give up to the Boss for promotions OR sleep with the DL Man. Some of these educated black women I see in DC are so bitter it scares the hell out of even me.

In my newsfeed it was more black men defending the whole "Happy father's day to my mom..." mess, and posting in their status, "Happy Father's day to the REAL men...". :smh:

It's sad...and I agree 100% with what CT said.

But we just keep it going and going by giving it too much attention. I replied to a comment that if your sperm donor wasn't shyt...that's fine. You don't HAVE to say, "Happy Father's Day" to anyone...let alone post it on FB.

SS,
In my first post, I made sure to include guys cause I see dudes doing that. Buying their mom's fathers day gifts and all. It is straight up sad.

I've noticed dudes doing this more often as well. I was raised mainly by my mother after my parents were divorced, but my father was still in my life even though he was no longer in the house. My parents definitely had their issues through the years, but as I matured I saw the situation and where both parties had their share of fault. Unfortunately, a lot of people never take the time to heal or sort things through because they often just grow up hearing one side of the story (usually the mother's side).

I hate to say it, but when I saw some of my FB friends bashing men yesterday or trying to pull that "my mother was both" crap, it really cast a light on why some of them may have the issues that they have as adults. None of us are perfect, but I don't think a lot of people realize how they carry issues from childhood into their adult lives and how it affects their current lifestyle and relationships. A lot of single mothers (including mine) did a great job in raising their children. However, I am still a firm believer that it takes a man to show a man how to be a man. Ideally, that could come in the form of a stepfather, uncle, or a mentor if the father is not in the picture. It's to the point now where you can kind of tell who didn't have any men around when they were growing up. The breakdown of the family structure has unwittingly created a group of soft batch adult men that carry that crap into their marriages and relationships.

They do that and say the ignorant my mom is my father because society has taught them to say it. When a person hears something all of their lives, they begin to believe it.

That would be like right to them. Sistas only believe "Thug loving" is the best. The sad part is the educated ones believe it more than the slum beautifuls.

Message to Black Women - if you want your kids to have a role model, F a role model. They like P too.

we can continue to point fingers or we can find a solution to the problem. These posts are starting down the road to super negative...with no solutions coming...as I AAs are wont to do for societal issues. But again, without a solution, AAs will again be slaves soon...I hope we'll find LESS discourse on bullschall such as this which won't matter a day after Father's Day and more on furthering and promoting the positives in both our sexes and race.

No solution is forthcoming. The solution is the age old, God, family, community then country but we have bought into a new social paradigm.

I had to share this post yesterday on FB. None of my "Happy Fathers Day to me" single mother friends commented on it.

Single Mothers Please Let Fathers Have Their Day

Nothing burns my buns more than when people tell me Happy Father’s Day because I am a single mother. I absolutely believe this is the most disrespectful act of passive aggression a single mother could participate in. No matter how great of a mom I am, I could never be a MAN! No amount of nurturing, time, and/or material things could replace an absent father. Maybe some of them would be better fathers if we stopped trying to diminish them and their role every chance we get. and instead show a little support at least on the one day set aside for them.

Being a single mom myself, I understand the desire to want to disregard a father who is absent or not following through on his parental duties. However, whenever I want to go in, I remember that I am partially responsible for my predicament. I chose to have intercourse with someone who is irresponsible which makes me just as irresponsible for not being a better judge of character before putting myself in a position to create a life. So I’ve actually apologized to my daughter every time she expresses her displeasure with her dad. I take responsibility for my role (not his). I confess that I was young, dumb, and being irresponsible with my body and now she has to suffer the consequences of it. Yeah I know, seems odd right? Right, because we’re always taught to blame the other person and throw the dad under the bus.

Solutions have been offered nonstop but these women will not listen to common sense.

Tommy Somaytor and others have bought it up nonstop only to get attacked by these bitter women, SIMPS, Poverty Pimps, Racebaiters and Pulpit pimps.

Happy Fathers Day Mom-does not happen if these girls stop going after Pookie, Ray Ray, dumb jock, misguided young man and the wannabe thug.

I can think of young girls in my school district-graduated high school, have a job & in college-knocked up by some black boy who spends more time locked up, attending fly by night schools like Texas Can or a charter school and splits time in between working at Wal-Mart or being unemployed. Every single one a black female.

And to do that-it means getting in the face of their mothers and telling them off. That girl is going to take a loser if she keeps seeing her mother be the neighborhood sperm bank for worthless men.

Tell these sorry women and their entourage of supporters stop disrespecting and insulting all these good black males who would be great and supportive fathers of kids. Stop running them off and then get mad when they marry outside their race. And stop getting offended when guys like Tommy Somaytor call you out for your behavior. He's just saying what a lot of folks want to say badly.

Life would be so much better if sistas could expand their vocabulary beyond the words "hate and bitter".

THANK YOU CEE!!! Strippers and escorts may want that dollar first, but sho know when to stop poppin for the broke and start poppin for the rich..

The educated black women sees a brotha with a degree and instead of thinking good things may happen, they try to tear him down :smh:. I don't want to compete against black sistas. I see too much of that shit in DC.

his message is SO nasty, negative and disrespectful ...he's not attempting to be a solution :smh:...if he were, he would package it better so that someone would listen...but starting out with bytch and hoe and slut and such...he...well...he needs training if he believes that approach not tryng to be divisiveness and is a solution approach.

Your message isn't much better...

Life would be so much better if sistas could expand their vocabulary beyond the words "hate and bitter".

if this board is any slice of reality, ah...its not the sisters using it so profusely... read again...but stay on track. This is about mother's being wished HFD.

Some of y'all sound bitter as heyal!

Daymn!! :emlaugh:

Carry On though...

they do, but alot of sistas date, marry, and get pregnant by dudes
well below a certain standard, many of which, who can't mentally function, as a
husband or a father, even if financial obstacles were alleviated.
Maybe (black) women by and large just wanna have fun, but some understanding of
the societal damage they're doing should be appreciated. For instance,
how many women say they are with some dude just killing time until the right one comes along? Well multiply that action by 100,000 black women, add in 50,000 kids born to "just kicking it" relationships, and what you end up with is a negative impact, not just on society, but the psyche, of 100,000 men who each tell their 100,000 friends that you don't have to be much or do much to lay with a black woman...think about it
