Do any of you have passport for your kids? I'm thinking about heading to Canada this weekend. Me and the wife have passports, but our kids don't. I looked at this travel website and I see that kids have to have passports to enter back into the U.S. There is a 24 hour passport request form that can be filled out.

Yes, I have passports for my kids. When I got them for my kids, we were going on a cruise and the rules were suppose to be changing about having a passport. So I got them just to be on the safe side.

Go ahead and get them BW. It is needed these days when traveling out of the country. No need to have any issues trying to get back in.

Yeah man, I plan to get them. I don't want the kids to not be able to come back to the U.S.

Man that is good. I've met some kids that have been all over the world. Man, I was like damn I've got to get more stamps on my passport. Man, I wish I had the time to be able to travel the world at any moment. There is so much in the world to see and do.

My folks have had passports for us when we were kids. It's a good decision not just for traveling but just on general principle.

Whether you have one or not, they can't stop you from coming back into the USA. If you were born here you are a resident. They can't stop you from coming home. Now they will harass the hell out of you, but they have to let you back in if you got it or not.

Man, don't have Buck azz stuck in a prison in Tunisia like one of my coworker's daughters... She went over there popping off at the mouth and came back with two black eyes. :lol: They let her back home but not without a memory.

:lol: Nah, I'm not trying to get locked up. It is better to have the passport and not deal with the hassle.

She still over there. She went back. She was married to this cat from tunisia and buddy took her kids and split. She forgot all her paperwork on her first trip and it got ugly for her. Now, she over there living down the street and he only allows her to see her kids a few hours at a time.

Both of my kids have passports. We got them for a trip to Canada a few years ago. I know a woman that took her kids to Canada via Niagara Falls without passports. They caught hell trying to come back across the border.
