Yeah it is smoke and mirrors. I actually believe them crooked mofos got more money than they admit. LOL.
Kind of like the stuff Jindal was trying to pull here, but none of the higher ups were having it this year. lol

Yes it is. If any state university wants to issue bonds, they have to request it from the legislature, who must authorize it. JSU will get bond money for other things, but not the dome this year.
IMO, the timing didn't help us at all. We announced the plan and request after the session started. Legislators need time to consider such instead of making a rush decision. I look for a better outcome next year, now that it's out in the open. But I still don't expect to get the entire $75M. I expect they'll put it in phases.
This thing is a lot closer to being a reality than people think! Lots of things are happening out of the public view. Stay tuned!

Jindal is currently on the downfall, but Mary Landrieu is still riding that fence. Because of the Landrieu political name in Louisiana, she has been riding that fence for a long time. Now that Edwards is out of jail, maybe he could help restore some fight in the Louisiana Democratic Party.
On a downfall yea but its about a couple years too late.
Yep, he definitely has done more damage to Louisiana than 20 Katrina size hurricanes could have ever done.
Jindal was in Jackson yesterday raising money with Gov. Bryant for the Repub party.
Two peas in the pod. As much as we like to talk about black electing the same ole bozos in Jackson, its even worse on the state level. Mississippi will vote for anyone white and "conservative".

Keep his azz there.

We got enough dumbazzes running this state now.
We don't need to import.

Very True! It will take years to recover from this mess Jindal has made.... However, He has set his platform for a run at President... Dude could care less about people.. Its ALL personal gain for him...
He'll never make it out of the primaries. Have you seen his poll numbers?

And they would go down even more if he continue his effort to run for President.

Exactly.
I doubt if he would even carry Louisiana. Dems would have a field day saying look at the damage he did in his home state.
They are already having a field day with him and this is just the beginning.

Demos and especially blacks in Mississippi don't get off their azzes unless it is a Presidentual election. They will let these "local" Repubs walk into office with no fight. The Demo party in this state is so bad, they get tricked every year by some "stealth" Repub that run in a DEMO county, win, and then promptly switch to the REPUB party.
A guy won a seat in the Ledgislature in the last election here in November. They can't even be sworn in until January. This guy switched to the REPUB party 3 weeks after being elected as a demo. :smh:
What do we do?
We sit around and barely get 15% voter participation on local and State elections. Let a Presidentual election come around and these fools will act like if they dont vote they will die.
Yeah, I've seen it... Although he has set his Platform....nothing good about it at this point.
