Does the current Prez and AD dislike him? Remember you have a different regime in charge now. I know the JSU faithful may not want Asberry. But are there any folks still at JSU to block a move by your AD and President? Not just with Asberry. But anybody they choose. Especially if they don't need to ask for any money from outside sources to supplement any salary of the head coach.

And if all they can find is Ashberry, NOTHING AGAINST HIM PERSONALLY, then we doomed as a FCS football team. Ashberry has not exactly lit the college world of HBCU football up.

I would rather have John Shannon as Head Coach if Comegy is ever given the foot out the door. Shannon would be a better coach than most of these mofo's coaching in the SWAC now and it ain't because he white. :lol:

As for coaching suppliment, Comegy would not be getting anything near what he is getting without boosters pitching in. A bad hire would be even worse for the Faded one and President. We done been through that.

It don't take much at all for JSU peeps to keep their money in their pocket since Bell.
You see our attendance fell like a led brick from 20,000 feet when we started losing at the beginning of last season and didn't pick back up until 2 games into that 6 game streak. :lol:

Asberry should be the head coach at jsu. I don't think the ship will ever be right at jsu until they hire an alum as reciprocity for the last alum that was unjustly fired and replaced by James Bell. That is an example of a mother eating her cub and there is a price to pay when things like this happen. :smh: :lol: :emlaugh:

Who is after him? Get Ready? Robber? TP? Pop33? Wait, TP is in Philly and Pop is in DC. Who is at Jackson State RIGHT NOW that would make his life miserable?

Now, for the record. I don't know who he pissed off at JSU. Just hear a bunch of rumors of him being an arse hole to some folks and I assume he must of fugged somebody gal or something. Just find it interesting how he is hated at his own alma mater like that.

Anyway, we both know this ain't going to happen with Asberry, Comegy and Johnson. Someone is creating rumors just to be doing so. But Comegy is probably not folks in Jackson favorite person right now with how he has acted during this FAMU coaching search. He should know not to piss off the good people around JSU. Especially knowing that the AD and President did not hire him in the first place and have been rumored to want him gone. Didn't your President work at Norfolk State when Comegy pulled that return to TU stunt?

Frat, you know I know what the deal is. I am just wondering if the Prez and AD understand the JSU dynamic if they have to go hire a coach. Don't get me wrong, I doubt it would be Asberry anyway. I aint buying into that rumor. But it did get me to thinking what your Prez and AD would do if they do get rid of Comegy or he left.

BTW, don't mention Shannon or you will have GR in here cursing mofos out. He don't want any parts of that cat back at JSU. He would rather you guys hire Mark Orlando than Shannon.

LOL. I know Comegy better tread lightly right now. Can't believe he went so public with the FAMU thing. And if he don't get hired which the FAMU folks say he isn't. Then what is next? Is he a lame duck coach at this point? All I can remember is our former basketball coach Michael Grant begging for the Youngstown State job like it was so good and pissed off the Jag Administration with that mess. I know JSU folks can't be happy with Comegy and he just lost the SCG the way he did too. He needed to be quiet......very quiet and hope no one noticed in Jackson. Reminds me of when Pete got on TV after getting beat down in the BC by Gram in 09 and someone asked him about his contract extension situation with a year left. Instead of saying he needed to concentrate on playing TxSU that year after the Classic the next week and let all the extension stuff work itself out. He opens his mouth and says basically SU better do something because there are folks interested in him. I was like WTF Pete? You just got beat down at the BC and you talking isht? Oh well. As you know TC and nem were already plotting. Comegy must have not learned from seeing how some of our schools operate when you do stuff like that. Oh well.
