Notre Dame v. The SEC

Stanford and Pittsburgh took Notre Dame to overtiime. IMO, the refs gave ND the Stanford game.

Notre Dame cannot beat 6 SEC teams (SC, TAMU, LSU, BAMA, FLA, GA).

And there it is.... these are the same 6 teams I always list on Facebook when talking to some anti-SEC people who want to compare schedules and stuff.

As you said, Stanford was supposed to have won that game. That was one physical team. If ND faces Murray in the title game, he's easily the best QB they're faced all year. And I shudder to think of Saban getting 5 weeks to prep for ND....

have you saw Georgia play in a bowl game before. They never show up.

So Landy Jones at Oklahoma don't count who is the the Big 12's career leader in total offense (15,756 yards) and passing yards (16,124, third in NCAA history)?

He didn't throw a TD against the Irish during their matchup this season.

Who is Oklahoma lol.

You can't count Georgia either, who lost to Boise State and Michigan State in big games last year.

That's why I expect Bama to win as much as I don't want Saban to win

Boise State ain't a bad loss by the way... looks like they get to 10 wins again this year...

It's bad when you consider Georgia didn't run a single play inside the 20 against Boise State in that game.

SEC. Notre Dame will not be able to score points on an SEC defense. Couple that with Alabama or Georgia wearing down their defense.

Landry Jones who plays for Chokelahoma, the team known to choke in every big game?

I love the SEC but this Notre Dame team is not the old ND, their defensive front 7 is great against the run, and the SEC likes to run the ball. We'll see.

It's one thing to stop the run against the teams they have played but we all know the SEC is on a different level with line play. Alabama will beat the living ish out of ND if they make it, but I have a feeling Georgia is going to play the he'll out of Bama.

But do they have depth to handle that pounding for 4 quarters? Remember people thought Florida State had the best defense in the country and would easily shut Florida down and Florida pounded them for 230+ yards and 37 points. It is easy to look good against weak teams, they are playing the big boys now.
