BCS Standings

The Florida and South Carolina match up this weekend is HUGE. It could knock SC out of the drivers seat in the SEC East or squarely put them in it gaining the tie breaker on Florida and Georgia if needed.

I knew Florida would be right behind Alabama because they have some excellent wins, and a win over South Carolina could push Florida over Alabama.

They're really trying to push ole Notre Dame up there this year.

Yes, that irks me a little. I am looking forward to the Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma match-up in two weeks. If Notre Dame isn't real, Oklahoma will tear them out of the frame.

I'm expecting them to tear them out the frame. You're best win can't be against unranked Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue.

a Florida win over South Carolina wouldnt put them over Bama. Bama would have to lose or play a "close" game to shake from the top. As long as Bama keeps getting 30 point wins, they will be at the top.

Yes, that is a "milk toast" schedule that they play. I still believe the refs took that game from Stanford this weekend because they wanted to get out of the rain but that is just my opinion. The only other big game that they have on their schedule is USC. With them potentially guaranteeing the ACC 6 games in the future the schedule will be consistently suspect IMHO.

A Florida win over South Carolina would almost guarantee them a "dinner date" shall we say against Bama in the SEC Championship too. :emlaugh:

When Notre Dame played Michigan State the Spartans were ranked No. 10. They won that game on the road by 17. When they played Michigan, Denard Robinson and Co. were No. 18. They just beat No. 17 Stanford this past weekend. Not mention Notre Dame as only given up three offensive touchdowns all season, none on the ground.

The only team in the Top 10 that hasn't been tested yet is Bama to be honest with you.

If Notre Dame beats USC and Oklahoma, they deserve to play for the national title.

All of those wins are going to lose their luster as the season passes. USC is the only big game left for them. All of those Big 10 schools plus BYU has fell on their faces this year.

and thats DEFINITELY what they dont want.... Florida struggled with Vandy last weekend.... I dont see how they are ranked above Oregon.

The big game for Notre Dame will be at Oklahoma in two weeks. They win that one and it's going to get real. Then you'll hear the BCS national championship talk. While looking at the Irish's future schedules, they have a date with Texas at Notre Dame Stadium in 2015. That game should be interesting when you combine that with them mixing in the ACC.

You do know that Vanderbilt isn't a sad team right? All of their losses were to Top 25 teams. Florida played without several key players in what was the perfect definition of trap game sandwiched between the LSU and South Carolina games. A Florida win over South Carolina would give them 3 wins over Top 20 teams and they won 2 tough road games. The computers actually have Florida ranked #1 in a lot of polls. Strength of Schedule will eventually push Florida over Alabama if both keep winning.

Also, we really don't know how good Alabama really is because I have yet to see them beat 1 solid team this season. Their schedule has been really weak so far.

The weekend if LSU beats Alabama then there will be some shit in the city. With the rest of LSU's schedule they will more than likely play Georgia in the SEC championship and lead to some big questions as far as the National Championship is concerned.

Really though I can't wait until the 4 team playoffs.

At this point this is a really really BIG IF...I honestly don't see it happening come this Saturday...I nervous for the little babies...Zack needs to finds some balls and a reciever!:scared:
