I don't make excuses for my school, my team, or my band when and if they do something wrong; however, I will say this: on Friday, the temperature here in Arkansas (PB and LR) was somewhere around 82-83 degrees and by 11pm, the temp dropped down to 50 degrees (I know because I had to be at work that night and forgot my jacket). And it was raining and windy. By the time I got off work Saturday morning, the temperature dropped another 10 degrees down to 40. By game time, it was not only cold and raining, but it was also lightning and a little windy. No, M4 did not have the caliber sound they are accustomed to giving the audience, but anyone with common sense would know that those types of weather conditions have an influence on an outdoor performance.
I told Robber that JSU is a force! That Gooden is pretty good, and that QB #7...........those QB keepers were killing us!
This is the second time I've sat in the rain and watched an entire game where my team and JSU were playing; the first time was back in the late 90's at (then) Memorial Stadium in Jackson. It rained all 4 quarters of that game (nonstop) and JSU beat the mess out of us (I think) 44-0....
