Them Florida boys used to that heat and wore Bama State down. Defense been on the field too long in the second half. I do like BCU coach though. Brian Jenkins is doing pretty well over there.

In the first qtr, Crowell was cramping. These kids gotta know you have to stay well hydrated. During the season, they should drink fluids all day everyday. Running to sideline during the game is too late. If I were coach, I'd give the speech during fall camp. Stay hydrated daily. Every damn day. If you cramp up during a game, you will pay for it on Monday.

I agree on staying hydrated. A team from Montgomery, Alabama should know that.

If a team was from Minneapolis, I would be more sympathetic on the heat issue, but ASU is located in Montgomery.

I agree with Jay Walker. They will need more out of the offensive line.

As I MEAC Supporter, I would like to say that I would like to see more MEAC teams playing in this game.

Oh well,we'll just have to settle for 11-1. Barlow and staff failed to make adjustments at the half.

You guys will NOT go 11-1 playing like you did today. Your coaches look like they don't have a clue on what do to do with Crowell and your DB(s) look susceptible to the long ball in a pass happy conference.

We'll make adjustments starting with Valley. We have a young OL with two freshmen starting this year. Kaiss needs to have Jenkins under center and hand it off to Crowell. We will be in the SCG, I guarantee that.

I know Grambling lost yesterday but what I just witnessed was NOT GOOD!!! Cromwell better get some blockers. ASU SMH

Jackson State passing attack will present a challenge and don't sleep on AAMU. The SCG isn't a given from what I can see.

If you dont have good blockers, you cant get under center. You have to run more of a gimmick spread offense. BTW...your back qb is better than Jenkins.

And you will NOT be in the SCG...I guarantee that

ASU was falling out in October last year at home....it's a tactic to slow down no huddle offenses

Those boys were tired and cramping. It is as if their coaches didnt know it is hot and muggy in Orlando. Crowell wont be there another year if they dont get it together.

I lived in Florida for 4 years..Florida heat is a different type of heat.If you not accustomed to it will affect you. That's what happen to Bama State, the heat did affect them later in the game. Especially in line play. But still if the breaks had gone Bama State'way, they would have won. I hate to bring up the refs but they were also a factor in this game. Just think if this game was not televised Bama State would have won. One call the ref had an early whistle,in which the Bama State player recovered the ball but the refs said forward progess had stopped. The other significant call was the fumble that Bama State loss because of a review. If they had watched that review in real time,it was no way they could have tell whether the knee was down before the ball came out. It was a nanosecond difference almost. But refs are human, they gonna make mistakes...that's why teams have to at least 3 touchdown lead over the other team. Nevertheless I still think though,it was Bama State's being affected by that Florida heat.

Florida heat aint no different than MONTGOMERY heat. Montgomery is a VERY HUMID city.

btw Lacey had more rushing yards playing a quarter of football (injured his ankle) than ol Isiah had the entire game :lol::lol:

This was our most physical pre season . yet we started cramping up in the 1st quarter. The game got away from the Hornets and they never could recover. Oh well on to Valley

Thats what they call an understatement

 at the peeps who said Crowell will have the same success running behind a Bama State O-line as he did behind Georgia O-line...But I did see ASU got some talent out there...but coaching kills...they need to really find away to use Crowell...
