McDonald stood in that pocket several times and made some good passes and his receivers didn't help him. There are a few things from the game that they can correct and build from.

Looking at the stats I wouldn't think the score would be that lopsided but for the 3 TOs and MSU starting field position. Oh well.

You right. I knew Coach Rick Comegy was going to turn JSU's program around being that he his a Coach Billy Joe disciple.

Comegy needs to concentrate on special teams this week. Our punter put the defense in the hole several times with 20 yard punts. That's like giving them two or three TD's. Then you have the two pick 6's by MSU's defense on telegraphed passes.
Other than that and a few dropped passes, JSU played fairly well.
McDonald played his best game in five years at JSU, against a decent SEC defense.
