Yall acting crazy now and thinking we will be a PUSH OVER ------ I've always watched clips from 84 -92 a million times and I dont ever recall a SLAW band because of size. The only thing that taylor will be mad at is that every swac band will play at the same time he plays in the stand.... and the fact that SU directors will show him some respect after the sept 22 fieldshow TRUST ME

Hold up now....su band directors already respect taylor..they have never had a issue with Mr. Taylor or when he ran the boom. Mr. Taylor respects su directors also.....this has always been the case.

Who else would he have cut? Students who played when He (DT) and Haughton were band directors?
Anyways, It's actually another cut (audition) today! :scared:

You forgot about the students who played when Mr. Edward Duplessis was Band Director, he was Band Director after Taylor but before Liddell and Murray but after Haughton.

Anyways, all these cuts are making me dizzy! :spin:

I could care less to know what you know, because what you know ain't about nothing. :retard:

Wow! A picture can paint a thousand words! Thanks for sharing!

FrostyNacho, you can put your camcorder down, your services ain't need anymore!

 Or maybe I just choose not to put the Boom's business out in public eye. If I knew nothing, then I'd be on here like you guys/girls ready to bust a nut at the slightest "boom sighting" like some of you have been doing.

The key word is you not us. Liddell is no longer the band director, so what you know is irreverent and Taylor isn't interested in your charting ideas. Oh, by the way, I never marched.

You never marched but you're apart of "us" more than someone who actually put on a Sonic Boom of the South uniform. Man Sarge got more pull than you!!

Ok I'm done

Comnon sense should have told you, I never wore the uniform when I stated "I never marched", my comments are directed only you to, comprende?

Now take that and run for the border!

What you choose to do is your business and your constitutional right. ESPN just did a segment on the Boom called "JSU Band Camp - The Beat Goes On", that was released worldwide, now that's putting the Boom's business out there!

It is also unethical. As head chair person of the search committee for a new director, he should never be in the running. Turning down other people just bcuz he wanted the job would look really bad.

You right, I am making a public complaint.

I feel that if he wants to really be the next D.O.B....he should go through the channels just like everyone else. Then he is also head of the search committee which means he would black-ball every single applicant whether that person qualifies or not which is unethical. If deep down he wants the job, get off the committee, submit the application and get to the interview.

You were the one that made comments concerning Dowell Taylor being the chairperson on the search committee for Band Director and him assuming the position as interim Band Director on a public forum, not I.

As long as I know where you stand with the Boom, which has always been on the outside looking in, its cool with me

And thats great for the Boom, I'm not knocking that....we need more of that.

And if you're going to quote me, put it into context before you speak and tell half truths

Being head of the search committee only to get interim status is fine.
Being head of the search committee, deny every applicant and gets the permanent job is unethical. That was the basic run-down of that whole discussion on the other page in case you missed it :read:

Does this Dowell Taylor character walk on water, heal the blind and raise old Sonic Boom members from the dead?

With Liddell gone, that's where you are. I personally know Dowell Taylor, I don't have that problem. :retard:

Nope, I'll never be gone. No matter who is at the helm, the Sonic Boom of the South will always have my support. I don't know where you get this only Taylor era people can have a say-so thing going, but its definitely a step in the wrong direction.

And if you know him personally, respect his wishes and stop this Davis/Haughton/Taylor/Liddell era crap. It will always be ONE Sonic Boom of the South.

Frosty is bitter and can't be trusted. Pops no one walks on water, Taylor was placed in that position for a reason. Dr. Carolyn W. Meyers is band friendly, she can tell you why.

Now I'm bitter

You forgot about the part where I'm a secret double agent for another school.
