Doug Williams Reach Agreement


UL System approves contract for GSU's Doug Williams

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, at its monthly meeting this morning in Baton Rouge, approved a three-year contract for Grambling State University’s head football coach Doug Williams.

“The University is delighted that Coach Williams successfully led the Tiger football team to an astounding 2011 football season that culminated in winning the 2011 SWAC Championship,â€￾ GSU president Frank Pogue said. “Having received all appropriate signatures and board approval on the contract, the university will continue to move forward in preparation for another victorious season this fall.

“On behalf of the Grambling State University family, we express our appreciation to the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors for their support,â€￾ Pogue said in a statement.

Doug yelled sue for a contract nothing more, nothing less. He knew what he was doing, if anyone thinks otherwise they are stupid to the core and had to purchase their degree and didn't go to class. Hell Doug wasted Cleo's time. Just got him some publicity.

Doug just got Stump fired... you know the jags wanna boast about having the highest paid coach in the conference. No way they're gonna pay Stump that kind of money when he can't even beat Jackson State!

Yeah, he has to beat a rival eventually. Don't know why yall can't even beat the Mississippi Schools...the only one with a decent staff is Valley!

I see your point. But we did beat 2 out of the 3 Sip schools. Still doesnt matter. 6 wins in 2 seasons. Not good.
