Jerry Jones has 3 rings and undoubtebly the most valuable franchise in the NFL. I fail to see the comparison.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Rams have signed free agent DL Kendall Langford and C Scott Wells, the team announced Saturday. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Wells, who was named to the Pro Bowl following last season, has started 100 games in eight NFL seasons. With Wells in the middle of their offense, the Packers finished in the top 10 in total yards in each of the last six seasons.

Williams Suspended Indefinitely
Without Williams, Fisher said he doesn’t anticipate naming a defensive coordinator, per se. Instead, the Rams will coordinate the defense by committee, namely using the experience of assistant head coach Dave McGinnis, secondary coach Chuck Cecil and Fisher himself, all of whom have served in a defensive coordinator role at some point in their careers.

“We have got three former coordinators in the building,” Fisher said. “I met with the staff today and informed the stuff when we got the news and told them we would make the appropriate adjustments and then move on. I’m not going to name a defensive coordinator. It will be a collective effort.”

Because that experience is already in place, Fisher is confident that the defense will be ready to go by the time the season opens

Free Agents: Wasting no time

The Rams wasted no time diving into free agency with the rest of the league when the new league year opened on Tuesday.

By Wednesday morning, the team had already added former Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan and was in the process of wooing a number of other free agents including Tennessee defensive tackle Jason Jones.

That all came on the heels of a roster purge on Monday and Tuesday that left the Rams flush with salary cap space (in excess of $30 million) and also transitioned them from one of the oldest teams in the league to the youngest.

As of Wednesday afternoon, even including the addition of Finnegan, the Rams now boast the youngest roster in the NFL. Such is life in rebuilding according to coach Jeff Fisher.

Sean Payton plans to squeeze in some Tuna fishing during his trip to Florida for the NFL’s annual meeting.

FOXSports.com has learned that Payton is expected to meet in person with Bill Parcells this week to see if the latter wants to become the New Orleans Saints interim head coach for the 2012 season. Parcells would hold the position as Payton serves his year-long NFL suspension for his involvement in the Saints’ bounty scandal.

Just admit anything posted about one of your teams is looked at like a case of capitol murder. I don't GAS about the Saints. I would have posted the same thing if Bill Parcells was trying to go to Tampa Bay. Ya'll want him, SIGN HIM and bow-down to him for all I care. :lol:

I posted this because Parcells HAS NOT done shat since he left the Giants. Name one place where he has made a difference by the time he left. The Pats? Dallas? Miami?

Only thing this will get the Saints is more air time from Keyshawn Johnson and TOM talking about how they would run through a wall for papa Bill on NFL Today. :lol:

FYI he won the 1996 AFC championship and lost that year Superbowl than went on the bring the cowgirls back to respectability until you know who butted in.
