Elmore Gym Rocked Last Night

MD is putting the rest of the SWAC on notice that Elmore was in rare form last night. 3 pointers were falling like layups in the women and men games. It was pleasent sight to see the basketball school come to life. The JSU Huntsville Alumni Chapter departed in disbelif after seeing how JSU Team was treated. Even the subs were making shots. The only thing I hate is we did not get 100 points. GSU will be in on Saturday and we have to treat them the same way we treated JSU last night. A victory Saturday night will prove we have turned our basketball program around. I am looking forward to playing MVSU in the first round of the tournament. Anyway it goes, we are the team to beat for the tournament. If I recall we have been close in all games played this year.

I am so excited about the Molly whopping we put on Jackson State that nothing you write will ruin my day. I feel great everyday, but anytime the fans who attended the game, just made it greater. I going down to the coast and celebrate next week. You will never experience the joy I have at the moment in your lifetime. You cannot compare a po-boy ham sandwich with what I feel.

To experience the "joie de vivre" (joy of life) when in the Big Easy there is a certain etiquette that one must follow when ordering a po-boy otherwise you might hear the help whispering the word "cooyon" (fool). First, look at your waiter square in the eyes and say "Hey 'podnah' (friend) give me a half and half fully dressed, jazzed up shrimp and oysters!" Please do not ask for ham or you will be given directions and the time of the nearest "boucherie" (pig slaughter). You should have a good time on the gulf coast. Those people are so close to the Big Easy until they actually know how to cook. :lol: :emlaugh:

They exited the gym while the #11 band in the SWAC played their school song, including the teams. No class at all. They stood with their black power fist in the air Thursday night but J-State's traveling companions caused them to lower the fist and conducted the walk of shame tonight.

On a serious note, i watched two good games tonight.
