Dedric McDonald.

Mark Thigpen.

Tevin Chapman.

And, now, Drew Jackson.

At least four quarterbacks will compete this spring to replace record-setter Casey Therriault as Jackson State's starting quarterback next fall.

Jackson is the most recent to join the race.

A 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior originally from Michigan, Jackson transferred from Kilgore College, a community college in Texas, and is enrolled in school at JSU this semester.

He kinda reminds me of Bruce Eugene with his touch on the ball.

None of these QB(s) are capable of leading anyone further than a middle of the pack season. Look for JSU program to return to the abyss.

LOL!!! I just love it when these scum of the barrell teams fans come to give advice and predictions. Especially the ones that we beat. It makes me feel good about the upcoming season knowing that things have returned to their proper place.

Hella' catch JSU. Prolly could've made a nice sweep of it by securing a wr/ol or two from that same squad. :read:

You right Black, Southern U is lead by a 12 year old who has no arm strength and Texas Southern has never had a qb....but back to JSU Football I m looking for Drew Jackson and Tevin Chapman to step up major this Spring..

McDonald is a TE in wait, isn't he? :read:
Holla' atcha' boy.
Btw, kilgore & navarro & ranger fly under the radar here due to the notariety of blinn. Each of those schools hold their own on the gridiron.

I'm looking for a nice QB battle between Jackson, Chapman, and Thigpen. In that order too. LOL!!!!!!!!! Sorry McDonald, but maybe you can be moved to FS or WR.

Dont you just love it, J83? We have 3, possible 4 good QBs that can roll over SU any day. Let's see who Sweet Lenny will roll out this upcoming season. Probably another RB that will lead the nation in rushing yardage.

True words by P88....

But we need one more WR...we lost Wilder who was a big play guy for us so I hope we can bring in a tall WR who can fill his void...Our strength next year will really be the RUNNING BACKS on offense!

JSU2004, we have Drewry (6'6) who can fill in for Wilder and Drewry hands are much better and he runs like a deer.
