The refs aren't (imo) giving PV any breaks.... it's just that because they are competitive now, they are getting the benefit of the doubt much more. Calls that automatically went against them when they were constantly losing are now going there way sometimes.
 
MB, if you listened to the game, there were a bunch of wacky calls. One ref throws a safety, the other refs wave it off. The refs threw a flag saying PV kick off returner took to long to get out the end zone, then didn't even know how to penalize the call he made. :retard:

Man that happens in just about every SWAC game for every team. How is them throwing a flag on our kick return helping us when our radio announcer was saying it looked like he had a chance at a pretty good return? The SWAC refs just do stupid stuff across the board and as MB said they can no longer get away with whatever against us in particular because we're competitive. They can't be helping us if we aren't even playing in the game so how do you explain the stupid stuff they do in other games?

I'm with you P88. Went from happy we were able to make a run this season with new everything to ultra pissed that we didn't cap it off. The only "kickin" I wanna hear about at this point is us recruiting another kicker ASAP. :shame:

See P88 you starting trouble mane, but Troast said on his FB page that he tore up his ACL, MCL and something else in his knee so we won't have him to blame anymore, we have more things to fix than him. Congrats to AAMU and GSU for making it to the SCG should be a good one

Nothing wrong with one official making a call then having it changed by other officials who may have had a better view.

And there is no such penalty for taking too long to leave the endzone.

They didn't come close to cheating for PV, more calls went for aamu more than anything...

There was no flag on that play, the idiot head ref blew his whistle after our return man was about 15 yards out of the end zone. He then said he inadvertently blew it. It just happened that after he saw that wall set up on our return team and didn't want to see us get that score. He even pounded on his chest after doing it like "I'm the man".

These had to be the worse guys calling this game. With what was on the line the best refs in the conference should have been working this game instead of the worse. There was only 3 conference games this weekend so you could have left these slow refs at home.

This was HOMECOMING, what do you want us to do leave just because we lost.:retard::retard:

No one said we were happy with the outcome because we were not. So we went back to our RV area with our food, drank and flat screen. Socialized with classmates, talked about the game watch other game on the tube.
