What Makes A Woman Run Away From A man?

WTF??? That's just sick man!!!! How do you see that???

It has nothing to do with sex my brother. In males it's the unconscious tendency to be attached to their mothers. I recently celebrated 37 years of marriage. When I was looking for a mate, I compared all the women I dated to my Mom. My wife and mother have the same complexion and similar personalities. Looking back it was these traits that initially attracted me to my wife.

congrats on the 37
I have heard of dudes wanting to marry someone like their mothers,
but I'd imagine its gotta be sorta miserable for a women to always
have to mother her husband.

I so seriously doubt it and what a stupid statement to make =============> :retard:.

It's called recognition of the obvious and living what is logically correct. There aren't too many intellectual humans who are logical, unlike most of you negro ppl lol, so I really understand most not comprehending what's concretely factual. lol No one wants to sleep w/ their mother but I'd think most sons understand the recognition mom deserves and where her place is in her son's life, considering she was prolly the only one to set his feet on the path to rightdom and was there for him during those ever turbulent growing and maturing years whereas the future "wife" was not. I do, however, understand how some of you prolly shitted on your momma and her nerves as you matriculated life and would prolly be the ones to throw your raggedy assed momma under the bus. God bless you. lol :emlaugh:[/QUOTE

According to you everyone is stupid except you. Sheesh! Why are you so testy these days? Is your life that miserable.

I thought it was a psycho-sexual stage of development in a boy's life that describes his feelings of desire for his mother and jealousy and anger toward his father (at least that's what I read when I googled it...).

Sounds like this is something FAR beyond some child's innocent attachment to his mother.

Women like to make a fool out of men. Only fools let them. I see JC must fall in that category, because only a fool would say someone wants to fuk their momma. Sick minded folks fall for anything, and think vulgar, sick stuff like that. A person with good sense wouldn't even have a thought in their mind about someone fuking their mother. Who does that? Sick azz folks that's who.

You miss the meaning in my post Cee. It's not about sex. Are you closer to your mother or your father? Answer that question and hopefully you understand what I meant in the post.

Since you are closer to your mother it's only natural to try to find someone that emulates her. In your eyes she represents the epitome of womanhood. The same thing supposedly applies to a female and her father.

All men marry their mother... They just won't admit it.

I'll admit to that.

The one thing that all of the women I was serious about had in common is that they had spunk. A backbone.

My mother is a strong woman.

You have to be a strong woman to be with me. I'll totally run over a weak woman. I'll drive a weak woman completely crazy. Have her in a corner babbling to herself.

Need somebody who won't take my ish ... all of the time. For some reason, that's what I like. Nothing sexual about it. :)

I agree with this (except for the part where I am closer to my mother than my father. I have no preference of one over the other. I honor and respect both my parents equally).

But what you're saying now hardly describes the complex you alluded to earlier.

That was a dumb assed statement you made JC. You should apologize to the board for making a comment so hideous. :|

I'm testy because I have a hatred for others that realer than you could ever imagine. I'm not prejudiced due to skin tone, I'm prejudiced due to being in the midst of what I refer to as dumb ass ppl, like yourself. :|

Okay. Gotcha. My apology.

Exactly.

Let me make my stance clear:

I do understand the "become one" doctrine and have no problem giving my WIFE her due place and respect.

However, this is not the type of woman P~, Cee and I are talking about. Let's not play stupid. We all know of stories where women have rivalries with a man's mom. Where women try to dictate a man's relationships - even his relationship with his mother. Who he can friends with and who he can't and all kind of crazy stuff like that.

Women these days have lost their minds because they don't know their rightful place in a relationship.

Beside the "become one" scripture, there is also another pertinent scripture:

"Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old." - Proverbs 23:22

My parents will always be my parents and I will always honor them and take care of them. My parents are getting older and being the oldest son, that's my responsibility and dammit I'm going to fulfill it. ANY WOMAN who thinks she can dictate the relationship I have with them or what I do for them can kick rocks. That's the nicest way I can put it.

If I were married, of course I would take care of home first. But, any jealousy, discourtesy or disrespect toward my parents will get you smooth cussed out. Period.

And that's the way I feel ....

And let me add this:

I would feel the same way toward her mother or father.

I wouldn't disrespect them and she BET' NOT disrespect mine.

That's right. BET' NOT!

My take:

You don't stop being a son when you get married.

Many women take that "cleave to your wife" thing and twist it to mean that you should side with the wife no matter how rude, irrational or unreasonable she's being. I don't believe that to be true. To me, this is part of the responsibility of being a man and the leader of your household. Under no circumstances am I suggesting neglecting the wife or not taking care of home, but a man has to be able to do both: take care of home and honor his mother. Sometimes that is tough to do, but that's just a part of manhood.

That "you should always side with the wife" stuff is a twisting of the gospel in my opinion.

The best set of posts I've seen in a long long time on this board.

You are the one that interpreted my comment to be of a sexual nature which was not my intent. Sophocles trilogies like most Greek drama/tragedies dealt with universal themes still relevant to our day. LOL...I am dumb and stupid enough to ignore your rants, name callings and insults. I'm happy and not miserable.

I see the Oedipus complex at work in this thread. Interesting but expected.

Sometimes, one has to enter through the backdoor so some folk can try their hardest to attempt lol to figure it out for themselves. Sometimes it works, but for the mentally slower, they still cannot garner intell because they tend to spew ignorant rhetoric w/out fully understanding the words that leave their very mouths. :emlaugh: :bawling: :emlaugh:

Work on it, nigra-non-freudless ==>> :retard:. No worry, I've been using that term towards folx <<---- since jr hs. :D Real talk.

OEDIPUS COMPLEX: For Freud, the childhood desire to sleep with the mother and to kill the father. Freud describes the source of this complex in his Introductory Lectures (Twenty-First Lecture): "You all know the Greek legend of King Oedipus, who was destined by fate to kill his father and take his mother to wife, who did everything possible to escape the oracle's decree and punished himself by blinding when he learned that he had none the less unwittingly committed both these crimes" (16.330). According to Freud, Sophocles' play, Oedipus Rex, illustrates a formative stage in each individual's psychosexual development, when the young child transfers his love object from the breast (the oral phase) to the mother. At this time, the child desires the mother and resents (even secretly desires the murder) of the father. (The Oedipus complex is closely connected to the castration complex.) Such primal desires are, of course, quickly repressed but, even among the mentally sane, they will arise again in dreams or in literature. Among those individuals who do not progress properly into the genital phase, the Oedipus Complex, according to Freud, can still be playing out its psychdrama in various displaced, abnormal, and/or exaggerated ways.

U should really want to apologize to the board for posting that hideous dimented shit. :| But, I'll understand if you don't. That's a move that's expected of old coons, such as yourself.

And Crit giving thumbs up to that crap. Will support anything that favors their argument whether it is right or wrong.

That's how I know women will never be equal to men.

:smh:

I look in total awe and am thankful none are in my midst. Ignoring females, these days, is the EASIEST thing I've ever done in my life. Quite a few offer nothing substantial outside of pussy/titties, another avenue to spend hard earned $$$ on - like men cannot figure out how to spend it by ourselves :emlaugh:, a nagging in a man's ear, and another bill-making entity that's now in the household.

Put this on twitta'book. It's HOF.

Just like you co-signing P's posts every single time- no matter how off the wall it is.

Uh .... Crit ... dear ... J C was wrong.

Call it "off the wall" or "co-signing" if you wish, but when you're right ... you're right.

And we're always right.
