My observation of Chicago

Ken,
That is my city too. I know I haven't lived there in 25 years, but I will tell a mofo in a minute I was born there. I just hate to see certain parts in that bad of a condition and a bunch of people who seem to be content. Man I see so much promise and opportunity there. If I lived there I would probably be a millionaire within 5 years. Let's look at Detroit as an example. The black population of Detroit has been drastically decreasing over the last few years. Guess who is moving into Detroit in droves? Those damn Asians. And when Detroit bounces back and it will, guess who is going to be in a position to benefit the most? Asians. When some folks see doom and gloom, others see opportunity.

It is going to take something drastic to turn around areas like Englewood, parts of Auburn-Gresham, Roseland, etc. The mentality of the people living in those areas have to change and the city leaders need to do their part as well. You have a lot of voter apathy in the city because folks don't feel like the folks they vote for will make much difference. That's why Daley was able to be entrenched as mayor for more than 20 years.

Baby,
It is not that serious. You be one of the main ones on here blasting these same folks I'm talking about.

You have me confused with someone else I rarely comment on Chicago good or bad. But I do take issue with you labeling a total city. I am proud of my Chicago roots and as much shit as you talk about the city you need to be proud also because it took some Southside playa to make your ass. You could have just as easy been swallowed or flushed.

Smooches

sad thing is this is how I feel everytime Im in Jackson. Ive seen some of the most UGLY women in Jackson... and just driving around Jackson is a SAD sight. It just seems like every day is a rainy day.

:lmao: :lmao: Yeah it is some creatures down there. I be scared of them booger bears in that town.

We talking bout Atlanta yet. Personally, I think we should burn down Atlanta and Chicago. Both cities have done unmeasurable damage to the black community and constantly produce new problems.

You live in D.C where folks have historically robbed from the poor and given to the rich, which created the problems we see in Chicago and Atlanta. Maybe we should burn that place down.

Wait, let me take that back. We should burn Mississippi and Bama down, considering folks from those states moved up to Chicago and created all the problems. If they stayed their country azzes down there, we wouldn't be in the situation that we are in now. Thank God the locust are starting to move back to their cocoons in the south, though.

DC screwed up the entire country. Actually, New York did with DC's permission. Chicago and Atlanta screwed up black America though.
