Scottie Pippen: LeBron might be better than Michael Jordan

Oh, one more thing though it may not mean much. The Mavs have beaten Miami 14 straight times and 20 out of the last 22 times.

that means what? btw since you throwing out numbers... when is the last time the Lakers beat LeBron?

If you want me to break it down even more, it means that a Wade led team hasn't beaten a Dirk led team in four years.

As far as the Lakers are concerned, they're at home, so it's a non-issue right now.

Yes, but that still didn't answer the question.:snicker:

Yes it does...you've been ad naseum that Kobe was better than Jordan (Not close) and because it's apparent that he won't ever get that "status" you don't want to hear a discussion on LeBron.

I don't think he will be...but he still has a chance at it. Kobe is done...in that regard.

MB,

Regarding LJ, you are just talking to hear yourself speak or don't know what the hell you're talking about. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and suggest the former is the case. :emlaugh:

LEbRON IS THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE RIGHT NOW...and I'm not a LeBron fan. I just recognize the talent. All that "bs" about not having the right mindset is just "bs" that some geek behind a computer screen or sportscenter desk has put into yall's subconciousness. Ain't a GM living that wouldn't take him #1 in a draft of all current players.

The Celtics were 4-1 against Miami and the Bulls were 3-0 against Miami during the regular season. How did that turnout in the playoffs?

You are right, those previous Dallas victories over Miami don't mean much considering, in all but two of them, LeBron, Wade and Bosh were not with the Heat together.

Don't back down now, post where I stated that Kobe was better than Jordan. Your words aren't too reliable right about now. Seems like folks love to fabricate these days with no problem.

Jayrob hates Lebron.

Hate is a bit strong. I can respect Dirk for sticking it out with his team during both the good and bad times more than I can Lebron. Dirk is about to show Lebron what it's like to stick it out when times are tough and still win.

You must be out of your rabbit azzed mind. First of all, I don't ever back down...I don't have to. Secondly, you look it up...it ain't that serious. It's just chatboard talk for me... I'm not just a TSPN celebrity, I have a life outside of this.

Being the best don't mean jack if you can't win it all. Folks were saying that he was the best last year, but Kobe won it all; and year before that and Kobe won the ring again: and year before that, but another team not named Cleveland won it all, yet folks STILL want to compare him to Jordan?! Please stop the nonsense.

Everybody has a life outside of some board. It may just be chatboard talk, but you still took time to post it. If it's not true and if it's just chatboard talk, then it shouldn't be too difficult for you to admit that you flat out fabricated. Now admit it.

That's why I said what I said.
The Celtics "F'd" up and let Perkins go. That was the end for them. The Bulls overachieved during the regular season, yet still hung in there with the Heat until crunch time with their raggedy offense.

The Mavs offense is much more potent, powerful and prolific.

Admit what? That I think LeBron can someday be better than MJ. Okay, I admit it! Damn dude...you're as irritating as beach sand.

You already mistakenly admitted that, but never mind though. Giving out facts ain't all that serious on the sports board any how.

MB,

At what point are you going to stop kissing Lebron's behind in protest? :emlaugh: I blame Boston's foolish Perkins trade on this! :emlaugh:

Kissing LeBron's azz? MB don't kiss azz...I'm an azzkicker, so be warned. I'm not even a LeBron fan.. but I recognize the amazing talent. Personally, at his position I'm more of a Carmelo Anthony fan.

how are you guys even entertaining this?

Lebron is no where near Jordan's level and never will be. What Lebron has done going to MIA has made this league a travesty. The games have no intensity. Its like watching a coronation and it will be this way for a long time.

This team is the ultimate pick your poison. The Heat have 3 guys that can all score off the dribble, shoot jumpers, rebound, pass, jump, post up better than the top 15% of the league.

If you try to take Lebron away...Dwade kills you & if you dare try to take both away. Bosh will hit 30 on you. What team has a 3rd option as someone who can score 30 at will.

:smh:...this is just like watching a cake walk.

As a fan I hate on Lebron now because he took the easy way out to get a championship. Plus he's robbed me as a fan of seeing the best go against the best. That's why I watch the playoffs for all of these intense moments, watching these guys overcome all of their obstacles. Now all we are getting is All Star game type of basketball on supposedly the biggest stage of the game. S_D

I guess you hated the Laker and Celtic teams teams of old with 3+ hall of famers too. And, they weren't the only ones. How soon we forget...

I would call this a coronation. Nobody was calling it a coronation when Miami was hovering around the .500 mark after the first month of the season. Nobody was calling it coronation when the C's and Bulls were ahead of Miami in the East standings near the end of the regular season.

Nobody was calling it a coronation when everyone was dissecting why the Heat were 1-of-18 in late game situations or 1-7 against Chicago and Boston in the regular season. Nobody was calling it a coronation when folks were calling for Pat to coach the team, and calling the Heat Two and a Half Men.

Heck, although they beat the Bulls in five games to advance to the Finals, those games were hard fought, brutal contests that could have gone either way.

There is a lot of resentment out there about what has transpired with this team. And it is rearing its ugly head right now.

Yeah, how soon we forget at one time Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and Wilt played on the same team in Los Angeles or the C's winning 11 championships in 13 years from the late 50s to late 60s.

I was never really a Lebron fan until this year. The fact that everyone started hating him made me support him. I hate David Stern. I am glad that Lebron is sticking it in the eye of all these fans out there.
