SU Schedule

huh? I guess a decent discussion can't be had here either.

Do you know the payout for the Atl game? Do you know what yall make on home games? It could be that the payout is Atl is substantially more, I'm just asking if anyone knows what it is.

A while ago, a man once said thinking leads to thinking. (thanks MD)

MH.
Our payouts for home games have been discussed in our forum many times. I am sure JH has seen them. It was a topic of discussion during the SU move of the JSU game to Memorial. So even if the ATL payout is 200K which I think I have seen it posted somewhere in the past. It is better than risking an all out failure of a turnout in Mumford playing some no name D2 or D3 school that our fans will not show up for. Not to mention the stadium expenses you are on the hook for. Hell I rather go play ULL again in Lafayette than to play a Allen college or somebody.

Exactly. Plus the game is a great recruiting tool, in which I'm sure is the main reason MH is suddenly concerned about SU athletic affairs.

LOL. I think he is just saying why give up a home game to go on the road. Normally SU would not. The Jag Nation will be more interested in us going to the ATL and playing FAMU than to play a nobody in Mumford.

Cosign. I see what he is saying as well, but you stated why the ATL Classic is a good move for SU in nice detail. Plus, it'll allow for the Jags out East to see their team up close. I hope we field a good team this year, though.

Please put Alcorn as Homecoming. Coach Spears would love to put 52 on you like he did at JSU's Homecoming in 2005...:D

Owwwww

...So yall did like Grambling and decided it takes two weeks instead of one to prepare for Coach Spears...He still is going to be motivated to run up the scoreboard. A coach with motivation is a dangerous character:lmao:

Don't be disappointed when you and yours fall short.

If you really think someone alters their schedule for Alcorn you are more naive than i thought.:goof:

MH, there was a thread on here that listed ALL of the expense for the ATL classic. I seem to recall the payout being hella high! ...like $475K but I don't recall if that was before or after expenses.

I think everybody who is apart of the Jag Nation or has ties to the Nation will be in ATL on Sept 24, Lol, game may be bigger than JSU and H.C.

I hope P.V. is scheduled for our H.C.

I can't wait, shat I"m excited, Nashville Bound baby!!!!,

Can someone crank up that Battle of the Bands for that Friday, I'm sure TSU would like to get another shot at the Jukebox for coming in there and taking over "THEIR" crowd LMAO, unbelieveable never seen anything like what I witnessed that night from SU, well I have, but not coming into some arena with about 40 or so fans behind you, then leaving with about 9,990 fans on your side after the battle, LOL

I can't wait

Speaking of which MH, if i was a classic promoter and wanted to add a classic to the ATL, i would get AlaState and SCState. You two are actually close enough to do a home-home or meet in ATL. It's odd that you rarely play.

LOL Bruh
