This is so ironic........we took Alabama State down to the last 43 seconds of that game on a 4th and incomplete.......we took Texas Southern down to the last 27 seconds of the game on a 4th and incomplete..........both games we lost by a TD............my boys, I'm still so very proud of them UAPB GOLDEN LIONS!!!!!!!!:flippy::flippy:

Another 2 step for the sTu running game. RB Marcus Wright had 26 carries for 134 yards and QB Arvell Nelson rushed 12 times for 114 yards. He also was 14-20 passing for 166 yards, and most importantly, no interceptions. He did have one fumble. But today, Nelson managed the game well, only making one real mistake (the fumble). The fight in the stands was a trip...The emotion in the game ratcheted up from that point. Congrats sTu...I been telling folks since the sTu-AAMU game that if sTu could beat Grambling, they would probably end up in Birmingham. BTW, 24 first downs later, sTu is "MOVING THOSE CHAINS" all the way to Bama.

Some of our sTu Spirit Crew fans went over on Pine Bluff side during halftime.

After another physical play, our Spirit Crew starts yelling at the Pine Bluff players about the late hit...

Fight in the stands ensue...

UAPB football player not dressed out (in sweats and jersey) jumps over the wall into the stands Artest Style and gets into the fight!!

The next two plays are personal foul penalties.

The Ocean cranks up BOUT IT!!! That fires up the Pine Bluff players...

The Pine Bluff players fire up our players and stands!!!

I'm thinking this was two separate incidents but O WELL. They are students, young, dumb, and emotional. As fans, we all can have more class.

All fan bases have incidents that they wish they can rewind but what I will remember from this game is not the fight, but the way our team handled the adversity and pulled out a sweet victory.

In the end, the game was settled on the field and not in the stands as we are now the SWAC West champs bringing our train to Birmingham with 8 straight wins.

Maybe that is why I had such a hard time getting to Houston......God in His Infinite wisdom was telling me not to go! WOW! Didn't think TXSU fans would display such behavior.....I love my UAPB Golden Lions, but I would not ever resort to throwing objects at the opposing team.

Yep I know, I was there. A little boy fell on those concrete stairs and had a big gash in his head. They took him to the ambulance that was just outside the endzone and rushed him to the hospital. Some scotlandville people all dressed in su blue, drunk as hell said he should have been sitting his azz down. Some sTu fans told them that was fugged up what they said and to STFU. sTu student pointed out how old they were to be such azz hats and the fact that since they had few teeth most likely they never been in a su classroom in they suck azz life, and that they were just here fugging up the environment. Even the su folk was laughing at these idiots who had been cursing, smoking, and harrassing people the whole game. People were already upset that they were smoking then the argument insued, after the teeth comment the 40-50 year old man took a swing at the 21-22 year old sTu student who looked like he should have been playing in the game. He missed the guy and hit a girl and the guy from sTu was on his azz like stink on shat! The old guys friends jumped in more sTu folks jumped in and it went crazy from there.
But I will tell you one thing su folks was helping the sTu people and when the cops got there the su folk was telling the cops don't you bother them sTu kids this bleeding fool up here is the one you want all while trying to sit calm like he aint did shat with his clothes all jacked up and his face scratched, burised and bleeding.

Cops didn't arrest nobody and dude sat there the rest of the game like an alter boy, and as he was leaving looked at the girl, asked if she was ok and said I'm sorry Baaabbbyyyy!
