There is a large contingent of TNSU fans that would love to move over to the SWAC.

The whole conference affiliation issue has been ongoing.

I would say out of all the classics we play the Southern Heritage Classic against JSU is my favorite. It's something about playing those SWAC schools that feels like a big family reunion.

Got a lot of respect for the SWAC family!!!

As far as the OVC rivalries it would have to be Eastern Kentucky, Murray State and Jacksonville State IMO.

Austin Peay is picking up steam and they have done a decent job of reviving their football program in a very short time span but I wouldn't consider it a rivalry just yet.

EKU and J'ville State & throw in EIU on occassion; more so because they are the current bully's of the league.

The Murray State rivalry moved from the basketball court (mid 90's) onto the football field.

Yeah, the only month they have to look forward to is September. That's when they play all the HBCU's. After that, they loose their mind for homecoming like it's the only event of the year for black folks in nashville. That's pretty much their season.

Thats all black folks talk about here in Nashville TSU Homecoming! I went last year and it really wasnt just anything special! No different than any other HBCU!
