I know about Kitty Kelley but the shat she "uncovered" from family members and others is not exactly secret either.

Talking points:

* Winfrey concocted stories about sexual abuse she suffered as a child -- and grossly exaggerated the poverty she was brought up in.
* She went to great lengths to conceal her "lesbian affairs" -- including hefty payoffs -- and publicly attached herself to Graham to appear more normal to her audience of housewives.
* She lavished romantic gifts -- including a diamond toe ring -- on ABC talking head Diane Sawyer.
* Winfrey sold her body to earn extra money and has even described herself as a teen "prostitute."
* She doesn't know the true identity of her biological father.
* Her relationship with her own mother is so cold that Winfrey won't even let the older woman have her phone number.

Should not surprise anybody if they look at what she has said in the past without being scared to tell the truth when she sticks her foot in her mouth.
But you know the media is not going to call out their media darling no matter what.
I watched some "net reaction" to this and those cacklin' hens on "The View" act like the world was going to end because of this book about the untouchable, unquestionable OPRAH. :lmao:

Family member's up there in her hometown and in Tennessee have always said her stories about abuse and "sugar ditch" type poverty growing up was all a bunch of crock but the national media, neckrollers, and her studio puppets never listened and kept repeating her lies over and over to this day. :lol:

I am not a big fan of Oprah's so I dgaf if it's true but I would not put too much stock in long lost relatives and their comments. You know how many members and long lost friends act when money is involved.

Seems that I posted a similiar remark at one time. Many persons mentioned the things she has done. I think that school should have been in the US.

OPRAH just settled out of court with the headmaster of the school that OPRAH said was the cause of those girls being abuse.

The headmaster sued OPRAH after the findings said nothing about her being part of or having knowledge of the abuse.
When Oprah found out she would actually have to testify in her defense, she arranged a meeting and settled 2 days before the trial hit bout 2 weeks ago.

Her relatives have been saying that every since she put that out.
They been saying the abuse and poverty stories Oprah put out is make-believe for decades.:tup:

OPRAH used her family to make herself look like the victimized little girl from POOR, ABUSIVE, RACIST, MISSISSIPPI that went to the big city and made it big.
Made people think her Mississippi people were abusive, broke, monsters and did it smiling all the way to the bank without a second thought to this day. :smh:

I heard tidbits. I did not have a lot of interest. I do not dis-like Oprah...just not much interest.

exactly. folks will lie when they think money is on the line. But I could care less about what's going on with Oprah. More pressing issues are at hand.

Ya'll know why Oprah seems to cater to the middle-class, middle-aged white women? That's who kept her on the air all these years and helped build her billion-dollar empire. If I knew my targeted audience, and they kept my ratings up, kept sponsors tapping into my shows to keep me on the air, then you would be a FOOL to not go where the money and power is. All this selling out bull ya'll talk is why we ain't at millionaire and billionaire status. And if you don't care about that kind of money, that's fine, too. Money is not everything. That type of success and influence Oprah have come with a price. People 'gon always have an opinion about you-- good or bad. That's evident from this thread and countless others about Oprah on this board.

Personally, I don't see where she's sold out. She does give back. It may not be the way YOU want, but who gives a dayum what you (myself included) think? Who cares about her donations?

For the 100th time, If all the newsrags, and TV advertise this woman 24/7, how in the heck can I NOT know who is going to be on.
WJTV-TV12 advertise for her show during the newscast.
They actually have a part in the morning and mid-day newscast that outline her guest everyday. :lol:
