Keith Brooking was a good player in the A, but he's not even the best player on Dallas' defense...that honor goes to Demarcus Ware...

Exactly, the owner of the Cowboys has made sure for the last 20 years that the man in the picture is the face of the Cowboys.

Even the Bob Lilly, Ed 'Too Tall' Jones, Mel Renfro, Cliff Harris, Dennis Thurman, Ken Norton, Jr., and Darren Woodson were playing defense for the Cowboys, the man in the picture is the face of the franchise.

I'm not defending Brookins but he does his little pre-game show like that before every Cowboy game.

Ware is the best player on the defense but he is not the leader of the defense.

Brookins came to Dallas this year and realized it was a lot of great players on the team but they weren't emotional leaders. He was appointed that position by his team mates. Some on the team participate with him ... Others don't...

Braddie James although he is a good Bro just lacks the fire to be an emotional leader/captain on the defense along with frat Ken Hamlin.

Sometimes your team leader does not have to be a screamer or shouter or show "fire" or even be the best player on the team. Chicago Blackhawks captain Johnathan Toews is not much of a talker, does not raise his voice at all, but he has the respect of all his teammates because he works so hard. I have heard seasoned hockey vets say they are afraid to disappoint Toews on the ice. Oh, Toews is only 20.

But I had no problem with what Brooking did. I understand he was pissed Dallas was getting blown out. However, I don't blame the Vikings for what they did. Dallas was calling timeout on defense trying to get the ball back, and they were blitzing as well. If you are going to do those things on defense, why not try to score another touchdown if you are Minnesota. Hey, if they don't feel the game is over, why should the offense?
 



On Houston Radio this morning, Sage Rosenfel was being interviewed by the locals. Im paraphrasing, but he said the Vikes had every intention on running the clock out...but, the Cowboys kept throwing blitzes. Which ultimately played into their keys (for blitzing), resulting into big gains and that last TD.
 
Basic philosophy of life. It applies to everything. There always has to be a pimp and there always has to be a ho. For instance in the job setting, your boss is the pimp and you are the ho.

The simple fact that we are even having this conversation is proof that the pimp/ho relationship is alive.

In this scenario, Brooking and the Cowboys played the role of ho by getting slapped around by the pimp, which was played by Favre in the Vikings.

Sometimes you just have to decide whether you are going to be the pimp or the ho. In all situations, the is going to cry because the pimp is taking advantage of that azz....just straight violating you.

Brooking and the Cowboys just got violated thats all. Just don't be the ho next time. If you seriously believe in that sportsmanship shizz, then the skirt fits. Battle is Battle and you cut them guts whenever you get a chance. Send the message

I'm smoked out ya'll but somehow all that shizz I just said makes sense to me. :D
