Denise Taylor may not win a SWAC game this year. How do you go from SWAC Champs one year to not making the tourney the next year, then not winning a SWAC game the year after that?

Isn't that exactly what Pettaway did after Obie Trotter left?...

Denise has been through 4 assistant coaches in 2 years....too much turnover

it was a good game as the ball loved JSU tonight....JSU player shoots ball, hits the rim, we anticipate where it falls and then it falls to the opposite side to a wide open JSU defender under the basket :emlaugh:

PV and JSU was picked 1-2 in the SWAC so that was a good battle....

2-2 in the SWAC so far... if we can play well against Southern monday and then against TSU, we are sittin aight in the SWAC... we gotta be consistent tho for a stretch and not 1-2 games... and that AAMU loss looks bad now...

I was at the game..If the shooters weren't cold the score could have been worse..

I saw the ladies game too. The Lady Jaguars really look great. That's the best I have seen them play in a long time. We just need mores size like Shay Holmes and players like her. The Lady Lions have the heart but a lack of size is our weakness.

JSU only has 6 players on scholarship...everybody else are walk ons & controlled Priairie View for the majority of the game...Prairie had some issues dealing with Jsu's 2 big men...if Jsu gets 6'8 Davon jones back healthy jsu will win the SWAC this year...& next yr. with losing only one sr. garrison Johnson & the return of Grant Maxey,Chris Hyche! & a recruit who's sitting out this year but was a 4 star rated recruit coming out of high school..east webster...the rest of the swac might as well hand the trophy to them...Jsu is not the most talented team this year but their out playing everybody so far with less! & p.s our girls suck

this game is the one that should have been televised..i mean we got the best arena in the SWAC and the student section was packed. them ACC & SEC schools may have bigger gyms and and better teams but you cant beat a game at the Acadome esp. when Gay&M comes down here

No that was a clean steal but their legs got caught up. They showed it several times. Nothing bad about that play. You find a way to hate on JSU don't you. Come get your arse beat on the 27th...

Their were alot of questionable plays that went Prairie Views way all night but bottomw line we were up by 11 & looks like we could have just about done whatever we felt like doing & we LET Prairie View back in the game & they made the end exciting after Rod Melvin personally did everything in his power to give Prairie View the game...Lets face it Bama State has one player & if u stop him u stop Bama State...yawl guards suck,we don't have to tackle your guard he'll hand it over! Yawl were up by 10 with 5 minutes left & managed to lose...don't hate

What high school gym are they playing in? I've seen highs chool games with more folks than that. Is it a school night there?

And Dennis Felton make sure you leave Southern your resume, they might have an opening.
