Obviously, I wanted TSU to win this game but this was a measuring stick for this program. We hurt ourselves with too many penalties and turnovers. So, if you look at how this team fought back from a 23-6 deficit I have to take my hat off for the effort.
This team will be in contention next year.....Good showing Tigers (TSU)!

sTu still has a better team, they are just not coached well in all aspects of the game.
JC has started to focus more on what he needs to achieve at sTu. He know his ass was on the way out.

This was a great game, I wish my team was on the other end of the final score but o well! Now that many of you have seen this team in action I am qurious to see how they are picked to win or lose the last few games.

If you listened you would have noticed many contributers in this game were freshmen and Sophmores. Hold on to your horses, I think if JC is around he will be doing a better job of mixing it up going forward.
Although, I hear it's some Vols looking for a fresh start that have at least 2 years left to play. :ebrow: :quiet:

I want you to take off the "Damn Grambling" glasses for a minute and look at the possible thought process of the staff. Unlike the pro game where the margin of victory doesn't impact rankings, seedings, or recruiting, those things matter in the collegiate game. The first two items I listed don't apply in this case, however the impact on recruiting can't be overlooked.
Consider...TxSU has a new "energy" with this staff as evidenced by their success this year. Do you honestly think that Cole and his ace recruiter Melvin Spears wouldn't hesitate to "mention" to recruits that "they only beat us by 1 touchdown" just as Grambling's staff will now say to that same recruit "Oh, we beat them by two td's!" It's a competitive "market" out there and word play goes a long way...especially with young impressionable kids.
Also... It seems there was some pre-game "foolishness" by the TxSU players.

Texas Southern had to be asked to leave the field several time so Grambling could go through its senior day routine, and the entire team gathered to jump around on the "G" before finally heading back to the locker room.
When both teams returned to the field, there was some jawing and pushing and shoving before the players went to their respective sidelines. We'll see if it carries over to the game.

Also, you know if JC ever gets the chance he going to bust the board on *ram. They should have done it last night, hell sTu and the refs gave you one TD and changed momentum of the game on penalties. That trive had been stopped more than once. Come on illegal subs and shat. Better leadership and they would have kicked *rams ass. They gave *ram all they could handle with all the peneaties and trunovers. Broadway needs to send JC a thank you card!

By default saying someone has no class is also NO CLASS... You are right about leadership, tell your coaches to control your players during the pre-game warmup. Jumping around and stomping on school's logos usually results in hard feelings. Take yall whining azzes back to Texsucks...
