Sci-Fi Fans ... starts tonight

I can't wait... a few years ago, I ordered the movie and miniseries. I have about 3 more of the mini-series episodes to watch.
 



I am hearing this is gonna be totally different from the original ...

One thing I IMMEDIATELY don't like is that Anna is obviously the new name for the former character of Diana ....and this lady ain't sexy enough.

Also, when I watched the box set, I realized that this serial was situational, not serial. I prefer serials; situationals can get kinda stupid.
 
I am all over V tonight... Sidenote abc is slowly becoming my fav network with FlashForward, V, Modern Family, Brothers and Sisters I am loving them right now.
 
It was the itsh OK? I wasnt expecting Morris to be a V.

Visual effects were very good. Its like most of the gender roles from the original have been swapped.

John = Anna
Brian = Lisa
Christine Walsh = Chad Decker
Juliet = Georgie

I can see it now. Morris C and his wife having a baby that's 1/3 human. 1/3 black. and 1/3 lizard... poor kid!

No, I think it's gonna be that white girl and the dude whose mother is FBI. Like JST said, the roles have reversed. In the original, a V dude got a human preggers. I think this time around, a human is gonna get a V girl preggers....the V girl is likely to get killed or spend time fighting the powers of her own child. I think Morris and his girl are just gonna struggle with how to deal with him being a V..how will she react to knowingly gettin some lizard pee pee. :lol:

Also, their fake skin is MUCH thicker this time around.

I wonder what is going to be the equivalent to the "red dust".


I don't recall a John. I do recall a dude named Charles came in put Diana second in charge when Lydia went back and reported to him that Diana was not doing a good job. But Anna seems more like a "less sexy" Diana to me.
 
John was the leader of the visitors....

I thought about it and you are probably right...the kid who is all goo goo over the girl lizard is playing the role of Shawn...and will likely undergo the conversion process. :( So Morris and his girl will probably have an "Elizabeth"...and that MIGHT be how she finds out he is a "V" when a lizard pops out of her coochie!
 
I will watch the re-run on ABC.com tomorrow. I loved the first series back in the 80's. The leader.. she fine too.
