It actually happen when once racist Democrats who left the Democratic Party because the Party new agenda was to become more inclusive. These racist Democrats left the Party in hopes of starting their own Party, but to no avail their racist Party didn't survive long. Either through embarrassment or hate, this lead them to join the Republican Party, which were made of majority white northerners that were too soft to repel their racist white agenda. It's funny when President Obama used the same bible that a well known Republican President (Abraham Lincoln) used to be sworn in. It's also funny to see racist Democrats who only vote Democrat refuses to vote for Obama, such as West Virginia white Democrats.

I find it strange that Eddie Robinson didn't feed his players a daily dose of racism, however he gave them the same formula that Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and Ronald Reagan gave Americans; Work hard, believe, and fight for what's right in the greatest society on earth.

After listening to this, I realized that Eddie Robinson made a very important statement in this interview. Robinson stated people have to be "TAUGHT" Americanism. What is Americanism? Americanism is not food stamps, health care, social security, and etc. Americanism is "I" can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and if that be the case, then anything is possible. The former president of Grambling stated he never had any problems attending Berkley, Harvard and other prestigious schools because coach Robinson had them believing they can do anything. After watching the video, I'm proud to see that racism wasn't mentioned as a reason why black people didn't achieve in life.
