Ya'll Better Watch out for My Saints

HBCU SCREAMING CHAMP 99'
Play sleep if you all want to...

The leagues best offense has a pretty good defense to compliment them this year..

Detroit only got 27 points off of early season dumb mistakes N.O. made...

I love how fans jump the gun either positively or negatively after the first game of the season. "Oh, the season is over because Jay Cutler threw four interceptions." Ya'll better watch out for the Saints because they beat the winless Detroit Lions." "Mark Sanchez is the next star in New York."

Week One people. Week One.

Williams better make some adjustments on defense. 27 points??

Jax,

Honestly,
The defense did pretty good... Special teams allowed Detroit a short field a few times. And the one busted play right after our DB got hurt and Detroit went right back at his replacement...

Only think I really hope for our defense is we get Tracey Porter back in good shape... When he came back in the 3rd Q. He seemed to be pretty good..

Again, Dumb mistakes on Special Teams is what put Detroit in those scoring situations... The refs.. Dayum near gave detroit 7 after they found every excuse to give the extra downs on the goal line after we held and held them...
I really like our defense...

I highly doubt you even "watched" the Saints game yesterday...

Now, the title of this thread is "Ya'll better Watch out for My Saints." Then you go onto say something along the lines of don't sleep on them and the Saints have a defense to compliment the offense.

I did not watch the boys from the Bayou played on the seventh day, but I did see highlights on NFL.com. Drew looked great as always and the defense had its moments as well.

However, just because the Saints beat the Lions does not mean people should all of a sudden be on the lookout for New Orleans. Seriously. I know it is great your team beat a hapless contingent of professional football players, but it is only the first game of the season, my friend.

That's the thing about highlights you don't see everything..

What moments did the defense have besides the play AFTER Tracey Porter got hurt when his replacement got burned?

The highlights don't tell you that... And honestly, when Detroit receiver was called for stepping out of bounds when he thought he had a touchdown, the refs practically forced Detroit into the endzone to "try" to make up for that call... We did dayum good against the run.. And they were not eating up our secondary....

In the past we all know ANY and everybody was able to do that to the Saints..

The defense is a fool, Reggie with all those fumbles:kaioken: and Mikey's one fumble, well thats 14pts right there.

This weekend match matchup is a playoff preview.

But I like Reggie kickin it with the Jukebox on the sideline after a catch. l:lol:

Mike Jenkins welcome to the NFL moment.

Thank you...
And what pisses me is that fool don't even TRY to recover the daym ball after it comes loose..

BELL is a monsta'!!!

They can sleep on our Defense if they want to... Not to mention the return that put them in field goal range... that's 17... They could NOT move the ball on our defense.. Folks that watched the game would know that...

They move it ONCE on that big play when Tracey Porter went out...

Our Defense did not allow 27 points....lol... Ol female commentator on ESPN talking about..."They still don't seem to have their defense together"

I wanted to say ..."Batch, did you even watch the game?!?!?!"..

lol

LOL @ watchout for the Saints after beatin up on a team that won zero games last year. Holla at us midway through the season.

Thank you...

Well, if the Saints defense did not allow 27 points, who did? I know there were some breakdowns and mistakes that led to the Lions being placed in a position to score those points, but the defense is paid to stop the other team from scoring.

Lance Briggs said that last night after the Bears lost to Green Bay. Even through Jay Cutler threw four interceptions that gave the Packers good field position, Briggs said, "We still have to stop them no matter what."

The Saints should have stopped the Lions no matter what.

BELL is a monsta'!!!

I watched Mike Bell when he was in high school. He was a monster then, just played on some crappy u of az teams and didnt get a good look. He will really be a good complementary back for Reggie if both of them can stay healthy.

I think the Saints are looking pretty decent right now, but it's waaaaay too early for me to get to pumped up yet. I need them to continue kicking ass for some weeks to come!!! I shole will be tuned in to each and every game, tho! Thank you Lord, for the NFL Sunday Ticket...one of the best things ever created!!!!!!!! :jump:

Long run backs on special teams, fumble recorvery for a TD... and a host of other mistakes...

They had a very hard time running on us... And they ain't really pass worth much on us... Like I told you their biggest pass play came after Tracy went out and their OC went after Mike Jenkins...Which is were one of their TDs came from...

True that, that's why I told em don't sleep.... They will see after this weekend when we play Philly...

I know Dallas sholl don't want no part of this Saints team......huh unknown1?...lol

They played the Lions and they will most likely play McNabb-less Eagles....I'll judge them after they play that string of games against the Giants, Dolphins and Falcons...its waaaay too early to tell but Drew Brees is a beast no denying that

Brees ain't the only offensive beast on our team...

Can the Bears call their season over now that Cutler threw 4 INTs in week 1 AND Urlacher is out with a fractured wright?

Nope. Hell, the 49ers won a road game yesterday. Does that mean Singletary's boys are going to the playoffs?

Oh, and what the heck is a fractured wright?
