Look @ how quiet it is around here. :smh: I guess last year when we told "sTu" to "STFU" maybe they finally began to comprehend lol spoken king's english and did just that, STFU. :noidea:

It's too quiet around here for this to be the 1st game of the year yet alone a 1st SWAC game to determine positioning in the SWAC West AND also for somewhat local bragging rights. :shame:

You're right... yall need to do something to liven things up both here and at the game. Why don't you and C-leb meet at midfield before the game and just haul off and slap the isht outta each other.

BTW... Does Spears and Frazier still dislike each other? Maybe those two can have one of dem Doug vs Azzberry type pre-game meetings. Would Frazier punch a man who wears glasses? Some folk around Gram still say he's sked of Melvin... I'm just saying!

It's boring man. This isn't a "rivalry" game. It's a damned family reunion. :retard: A bunch of family members from opposing schools who come together and root for a few and THEN they get together and party/drink/eat together like family members.

I can't really speak for coach but I know he wants to win and loves to win. He also <b>demands</b> :read: physicality on the field of play. Period. I know unsportsmanlike stuff gets under his skin and @ some point one can't help but explode (what occurred in Dallas between he and Spears). I don't think he has beef w/ Spears or any coach in the SWAC. It's respect. :|

However lol, if Cole puts his foot in his mouth again and sez something stupid again @ that "luncheon" tomorrow :retard:, it'll be on Sat night. :D

Who is going to that Houston TD Club luncheon tomorrow? I know last year Cole was talking burnt hot shat.....then he and Bobby CantRmemeberHisLastname got their nuts handed to them in a coin purse three days later....:shame:.....I wonder what he will say this year.......

I think Cole may have learned his lesson but then too, I know they have more guys that have qualified this year, unlike last year when they seemed like they had compliance issues. :smh:

I'll give props, sTu has had some damned good talent over the years but for whatever reason, they never could pull it all together. Even this fall, on paper, they'll have some really great championship caliber talent. The question begs can they put it all together w/ the coaching and desire/will to win? :read: I think when one starts relying on a TON of txfers, @ some point, it will cease to work and that's not how you build a stolid programme (ala Kansas St and Schneider's model).

The luncheon was subdued. Johhnny was humble, Frazier was confident but not brazen. Charles was up beat and Fred was low keyed.

Everyone is being coy. Think both coaches are confident in there chances to win.
