It is interesting how people form opinions about various social media sites without knowing how it can be used.

If you don't like it, don't use it. No one is forcing you.

Those that use it apparently have some use for it.

Never really did get into the twitter thing. I made a page and never went back... now facebook is another story.

So true. If you don't like it, leave it be. It is not like someone is forcing an individual to use various forms of social media.

Heck, TSPN is a form of social media.

I don't see the need for Twitter, but with businesses, I can understand it.

I also have issues with Facebook. I don't have enough time in the day to be checking on what everyone else is doing. Now, I'm on facebook, but like someone else said, I don't have 1000 friends on that piece.

I'm like Steve Harvey .... I know thousands of people .... and only about 50 of them are my friends!

It may not have been called a social network a few years ago, but it definitely meets the qualifications.
