The caddy for the golfer that beat Tiger Woods went to JSU. He mentioned it during his interview on ESPN Radio 1000.

Those numbers will keep going up if A.J. Montecino has anything to do with it. Montecino knows a thing or two about being on the outside of golf and looking in. From a hardscrabble but happy childhood in west Texas and southern California, Montecino accepted his only scholarship offer to play college golf and matriculated at Jackson (Miss.) State University in 1993. There he helped J State, coached by former NFL running back and Walter's big brother Eddie Payton, make history as the first historically black college to play its way into the NCAA Regionals. Montecino also led State to the National Minority Golf Championship team title, taking individual honors for himself.

Y.E. Yang's caddy A.J. Montecinos joins "Waddle & Silvy" to talk about Yang's epic upset of Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship.
There was a moment Sunday afternoon when caddy A.J. Montecinos didn't mind yielding control of Y.E. Yang's golf bag.
