Haley Barbour.....

And some actually think he's a contender in 2012.

Everytime I hear that I laugh my arse off.
Lobbiest and money Rain maker is one thing but President..........

But I ain't interested in that.
What he need to do is get his arse back to Mississippi and pass a damm budget.

I AM NOT WORKING FOR FREE AFTER JULY 1ST.
No budget and this clown is romping all over the U.S. raising money for the REPUB party.

Barbour is smart enough to know he doesn't have a shot in 2012. But i guess it doesn't hurt him personally to generate a little buzz. It does hurt the State Republicans when he's doing so while stalling on the budget.

I don't know what you two are talking about, but Barbour is sitting in a pretty good position right now for 2012. He has already served as the RNC chairman. Now he's about to take over the head position of the GOP governors association. All the other leading GOP contenders are falling like flies. Hell, Barbour and Newt Gingrich might be the only two left come 2012. Even though he would lose in a land slide, don't be surprised if Barbour is the GOP's guy in 2012.

Bruh, do you think the GOP care about past dirt? Hell look at Newt Gingrich. That guy got ran out of DC when he was speaker of the house. Now he's a leading candidate for them. Gingrich got way more dirt then Barbour. Some folks wanted Barbour to run last year. He made the right move and chose not to run. I don't like Barbour or anyone from the GOP, but that guy is sitting pretty right now. You can deny it all you want.

Dude, I hear you talking, but you dont even believe that Gingrich will ever put his name in that hat either. I dont care how they looking now or what they doing now. They put their name in that hat and that's political suicide. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pawlenty, Thune, Huckabee and Romney are much better positioned than Barbour. Even that idiot Palin has a better shot at being the Republican nominee.

Barbour's record will hurt him in the Republican primary. That cigarette tax increase won't play well with the Republican base. Neither will the fact that Mississippi has survived solely off of Federal aid from Katrina and settlements from lawsuits the last few budget cycles. And his shifting Federal housing money to build a port on the coast won't play well with populists.

Huckabee and Romney couldn't beat John McCain. It's pretty obvious the GOP don't want neither of them. Huckabee has been pissing off the base of the party every since he dropped out of the race last year. Romney has no shot becuase the GOP will never pick a Mormon. Those southern baptist fanatics would never do that. Palin has a whole lot problems to deal with. She's too busy fighting the tabloids instead of trying to get educated.

I agree about Pawlenty though. He is sitting pretty also. I just don't see why you guys are discounting Barbour though. Another thing he has going for him is being from the South.

Being a candidate from the South and being the candidate from Mississippi is 2 different things, even for Republicans. The voters and media would stamp that "unelectable" tag on him right at the beginning. Also, his inside the beltway/lobbying experience would kill in the early primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Do you remember Haley told his staffer that if he wasn't careful, he would be reincarnated as a watermelon and left up to the mercy of the blacks. Barbour has baggage and he has not improved the state. If you look at his performance as Governor, there is no way he should even be considered.

Barbour know he is sitting pretty like Carl Rowe right now.
Ain't no way in he!!, Haley Barbour wins a NATIONAL ELECTION.

He know he is the power broker of the Repub. Party now and he ain't gonna give that up.
If the Repub's ever win the President's chair back, he know he got the Eyes, ear's, nose, and butt of who sit's in the #1 chair without the election headache.
He could literally pick any job in Washington if that happens.

Barbour is a so-called "king maker" like Carl Rowe.
Not the KING.:D

No black man should find humor in this...
