I still kinda like the traditional Hutchinson's version as well as the one they do today.

The one that GSU has now is better, the one that was just posted that was played back in the day is typical, the current one is more collegiate!
 
p.s. i wasn't being funny. just stating that our high school plays this same arrangement. .. It's a stock arrangement of the song you can buy from Barnhouse Music... :retard:

I enjoyed it in high school because only a few bands played this version (murrah... i think callaway) so it was always impressive because it was "different", but i have a better appreciation for a military version today.
 
UAPB plays the barnhouse version now too. They added a fanfare to the front of theirs tho.

If i'm not mistaken, Alabama State is playing this one too now.... I think they did we were in Montgomery this year. As a matter of fact... Valley does too..

I'm more amazed these clowns in here giving a "barneshouse" arrangement so much props.... I guess when you don't have staffed arrangers, almost anything amazes one....lol/smh/:retard:
 



So you sayin JSU does not have arrangers on staff?

Also, our Star Spangled has a long ending....and the fans start saying something like "ooop ooooop" after the land of the free part..... lol Im not sure who arranged that remixed version.
