That might be because Manny really cheated by having female fertility drugs injected. Kobe injected his manhood into a female. There's a difference there and I don't know how Kobe's fornicating is in anyway comparable to Manny juicing himself up to perform better.

Ofcourse, if you want to play a game of semantics I guess cheating is cheating. LOL

From what Ive seen on this side of the Rox/LA series...if I were Phil, I'd change something.

I'd figure out a way to have, atleast, 2 out of the 3 out of Kobe, Brown and Ariza out there at all times. Cuz, unless Im missing a memory cell...those three look the hungriest when they've played this series. Farmer that one time in Game 3...but, mainly those three.


What's the word on that soffff arse Odom?...:lol:

Come on now Kenderick, I dont even like the Lakers but Shannon Brown is hooping out there. I been seeing dude play since he was at Proviso East playing against my old H.S. Yea he has been on several teams but thats why he is out there playing so hungry now..and the Lakers only have a few people playing like that. Dude jumper is way better than it use to be as well. Its all about hustle and match ups out there man. Brown use to be a small forward so they got him at Guard which helps in the match ups. The NBA has bigger guards these days and Brown has the size and speed to handle that. He isn't a beast or anything but he is a key role player. He is the best at both sides they got coming off the bench on guard..the rest of them dudes get abused on one end or the other.

8 to 5, you're wasting your time with this guy. Shannon Brown is a Laker and because of that Kendrick will not give him any credit.

GramFan, I did a lot of thinking the last couple of hours about the perception of why some believe I hate Kobe. I do hate Kobe. Not because he plays for the Lakers or because people think he is better than Jordan or LeBron or any other player in the NBA.

Heck, I believe Kobe will be regarded as one of the greatest players ever when he retires. In fact, it is possible he might be regarded as better than Jordan.

I hate Kobe because he cheated on Vanessa. Okay, I said it. However, it was not the act of the marital transgression that bothered me. What bothered me was that he cheated on his fine ass wife with a below average white chick. That sucks.

Every time I see Vanessa and Kobe together all I can think about is, "How could you cheat on her with a Melissa Joan Hart looking chick?"

I could understand if the broad was a dime (black or white), but that white girl was homely looking. :shame:

Now I aint no Kobe fan.....MJ will always be the greatest in my mind until someone can lead their team like he did to more titles. But man, how can you diss Kobe over his personal life. Now the one thing I do not like about him was how he called out all the other players for cheating on their wives when he got caught. That was a beyotch arse move. You don't rat out your team mates when it wasn't even revelant. Other than that.......what he did was just stupid on his part.........especially doing the white girl with no condom. I think folks could care less he cheated on Vanessa. She is fine though.

As a basketball player I think folks don't like Kobe for a few reasons.

1. MJ fans hate the comparisons
2. He seemed more arrogant and condesending than most stars did(perception)
3. The antics with bashing the teamates publically when they don't perform....another beyotch move. Handle their arses in practice/locker room.
4. Shaq did cause him to lose some ground with people with his bad mouthing of him and Phil didn't help matters with that book.

In saying all that.......dude has weathered the storm and is at the top his game with only LeBron even on his level right now. You have to give him some credit in rehabbing his image. Some folks would have folded up. Can't believe I even defended EBOK....lol
 
Odom is the problem point blank. Just look how he plays, no fundamentals at all. He is the cancer of this team, take him out, move Gasol down and Bynum at the center. Alternate starting qtrs with Farmer and Fisher to get a feel of the game. I was saying last year that they shoulda traded that bum. If he takes out Odom and alternate guards for offense watch how they blaze through everybody else and the defense will get tougher. O well Lake Show in 6.

Dude, athletes cheat on their wives for not so good looking women all the time. If that's all you hate about Kobe, then there's not as much hate in your heart as in your postings, then again.....?

You know, I have not yet read one example from any Kobe supporter that would pin be to "hatin' on" No. 24. What have I specfically wrote that lends to that perception. If anyone can show me examples, then I just might agree.

That’s all. Now if it was a Laker Girl or a stripper or something, then you could understand. But the dude risked his marriage for an extra in a really bad comedy. Man I posted DURING the game 4 Imbarassment. I was not surprised the Rockets played well in Yao's first game out, and I was not surprised the Lakers handled business last night (as they will tomorrow).

BTW - I am sooooo looking forward to the Mavericks/Nugget game tonight. I am saying it now...IF the Mavs win tonight, the series will go 7 games.
