I don't think I've EVER heard of such an arrangement with one guy heading up two different agencies. That doesnt seem logical at all.
oh well, hope it all works out.
and yall just need to give Mayor Frank another term. He'll whoop Jackson into shape.

Can we send Frankie to you? He is not an effective leader. Plus he likes to micro manage folks. That's why Malcolm resigned. If you ask me I think he's losing his mind. His mental state just does not appear to be stable at this time. Case in point he showed up at one of my daughters classmamtes funeral a few months ago. He asked to make some remarks and insted of offering condolences to the family he spoke about his federal trial. Yeah he got up in the pulpit and discussed his issues. Now tell me that ain't a crazy man in action.

Oh and those pics don't surprise me. I remember being at Birdland one time and Frank walked up in there with some wreched guls, drinkin' and smokin'. And this is the mayor. :smh:

April 02, 2009. It appears that MediaTakeOut.com has found its way into one of the most hotly contested mayoral races in the nation. A few days ago, we posted some pics of Jackson, Miss Mayor Frank Melton and some ... A-HEM ... ladies.
Well the media have been on dude's case for the last few days - and finally he came up with an explanation. Here's how local TV station WLBT is reporting it:
Melton is seen in two separate pictures posing with scantily clad women. The shots are now posted on www.mediatakeout.com.
The mayor says they were taken in 2006 and there is a simple explanation.
"That was very innocent," he told WLBT. "I was having lunch at Peaches Restaurant on Farish Street, and they were shooting a film across the street, and I was so excited to have someone on Farish Street shooting a commercial. So I came out. The young ladies -- it was a commercial about antique cars, and they asked me to take a picture with them, and I accommodated them. And that was the extent of it."
