Mid-Week SWAC Baseball

In a (possible) 56 game baseball schedule, a few (say three) games against someone from outside division 1 is alright by me. It's the schedules where there's 10+ games against Div 2 or NAIA teams that make me shake my head. Bama State plays more non-league games against Nov Div-1 teams (13) than against Div 1 teams (10, and one was cancelled already due to weather). Alcorn is 13 and 13, although 8 of those games are against SWAC West teams, so while technically not conference games, are against other conference members.

That's where it starts at right there. Were more worried about the other programs name then bettering our team only way you can do that is by playing games period we may have 3 programs playing a complete 56 game schedule. People taking whole weeks and weekends off. These same SEC, ACC and SEC teams we running behind saying we should play are looking at us as a Div 2/ NAIA school with a Div 1 title some of our programs aren't even fully funded scholarship wise:shame:

That's true, Loyola is an NAIA Division I team...

So the 8-5 win by Southern over Loyola on Feb. 27, 2007 never took place? Nor did the 9-8 victory on Apr. 17, 2007? And the games were "took off"...? Guessing SU had finals, which wiped out the Stillman series.

Uh Dude can you count? He said 2 years. I know Sam Houston aint known for any technical majors and such but at least you should know it is now 2009 and that 2007 is 2 years ago. :shame:

Give it up jag... the man has posted instances that proves you guys play lower classification programs. No big deal... except that you lied and tried to put down others for doing something that all schools do.

Uh Bigg..........2007 is 2 seasons ago. Whether it was a spin or not. He did say 2 seasons ago. TT obviously was a liberal arts major and you don't have to take any math that much to graduate.........

If not he needs to give his degree back to SH State if he can't tell that 2007 is two seasons ago. 08 season has been completed and we are in the 09 season now.

March 4th baseball action:

Jackson State
at Arkansas Pine Bluff

Thanks JR. I expect TT to not be able to count, but come on Mike Bigg.

"Last 2 seasons" was what was said -- that is 2007, 2008. This year is the current season and can not be included in the count.

And even if you Southern mathematicians want to say I do not know math, we can move to 2008 where I did bring that "Southern had Loyola and Stillman on the baseball slate again...oddly enough, the single game vs Loyola and all three vs Stillman were called off due to "scheduling conflicts".
