Grambling State won a significant recruiting battle by securing one of the nation’s top pro-style quarterbacks.

Noah Bodden, the No. 1 rated high school quarterback in New York state, announced that he would be committing to an HBCU, Grambling State.

The 6-4, 216-pound pro-style quarterback of Christ the King (Middle Village) High School, is considered a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports and top 50 among other quarterbacks by Max Preps.

Bodden carried offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Oregon, Tennessee, Purdue, and Alcorn State.

Bodden made the verbal commitment official with a slick 4-minute video.

  1. Great choice young man. For me going to Grambling College, I just dated myself 1969, was one of the very best decision I made during my 73 years here on earth. All HBCU’s are exceptional learning institutions and provide a positive social environment. Stay focused and enjoy all that you have to give. Grambling will support you.
