Just days before the start of the 2019 season, a Pro Football Hall of Famer came up big for Texas Southern.

Michael Strahan, who played more than a decade in the NFL, helped his alma mater in a big way by providing high-end football equipment.

Thanks to Strahan, Texas Southern players will be wearing XTECH equipment, which uses the latest cutting-edge shoulder pad technology.

According to XTECH, its design features a three-piece body system that allows each pad to fit the player’s specific body type. The technology used by XTECH is similar to those used in military space.

The players and coaches loved the gesture by Strahan and XTECH.
