With just a little over a month left before the start of the college football season, we have no choice but to endure the consumption of published preseason analysis, predictions and recognized preseason all-conference honors.

Not only will football team members be required to report to preseason camps soon, but members of HBCU marching bands will also be required to do the same.


But it’s this time of year when wide-eyed, profoundly influenced high school students have enrolled in HBCU based band camps to experience those unique techniques for which particular HBCU bands are known.

So it’s only appropriate that these high school students get a chance to show what they’ve learned by performing before family and friends with a final performance. Below are some video clips of HBCU high school band camp performances from this summer.
