An audible train wreck occurred during the Bacchus Parade festivities at Mardi Gras Sunday in New Orleans.

Southern University’s Human Jukebox and the Talladega College Tornado Marching Band met up in front of Rouses Market on Tchoupitoulas Street to compete in a head-to-head battle that started terribly and progressively got worse.


As the bands proceeded in taking turns to crank on each other with blaring, horribly sounding tunes, Talladega, while Southern was performing Chaka Khan’s “Through the Fire,” decided to change the rules.

It was all downhill from that point on.
