New Orleans — The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and adidas have reached a landmark agreement where the Portland, Ore. based company will serve as the official footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the GCAC through 2022.

adidas will provide merchandise discounts to all GCAC member institutions, as well as promotional items for select championship events.

“The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference is experiencing a period of unprecedented growth and expansion,” said GCAC Commissioner Steve Martin. “Our historic partnership with adidas is a major step for the GCAC, and we are excited to partner with one of the foremost athletic brands in the nation.”
