Senior Enrique Quintero led the charge for Tigers, posting a .556 batting average (5-of-9) with five RBIs, one run and one home run. In the Tigers’ 8-4 win over Alabama State, Quintero hit a grand slam home run to take the lead after trailing Alabama State 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning. He recorded his sixth save of the season in the Tigers’ 10-7 win over Alabama State. He pitched three innings and allowed two hits, no runs and struck out four batters. He also posted a .500 batting average (2-of-4) with one RBI in that game. He leads the SWAC in saves.

Charlie Aceto, Prairie View A&M

Aceto pitched 6.1 innings for the Panthers last week in their 7-1 win over Texas Southern. He allowed only one hit, one earned run and struck out four batters. On the season, Aceto is 5-1 with no saves. He is second in the conference in opposing batting average, allowing .241.
