State archivist Florent Hardy from the Secretary of State's office distributed a list of artifacts on loan from the Eddie Robinson family for use in a proposed museum to recognize him. Among the notable items:

? Countless honors, including the 1983 SWAC coach of the year award; the 1994 conference co-champion trophy; a 1998 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame induction certificate; and the Coach of the Century award from the 100% Wrong Club.

? Films include a Wiley College contest from 1949; 1957 and '65 games against Jackson; several editions of the Bayou Classic dating back to the first game in New Orleans; Florida A&M games from the 1960s through the 1990s; a 1984 game against Mississippi Valley featuring the young Jerry Rice; multiple episodes of the Eddie Robinson Show; and that legendary 1994 contest against Alcorn State's Steve McNair that saw 188 points scored.

? Three copies of the 1983 football media guide, and 31 copies of the Oct. 14, 1985, edition of "Sports Illustrated" with Robinson on the cover.

? Tape on Willie Davis, Charlie Joiner, James Harris, Gary Johnson, Doug Williams ? and South Carolina State, whose coach was current GSU athletics director Willie Jeffries.

? The nameplate from Robinson's desk, which reads "E.G. Robinson" on one side and "First National Bank" on the reverse.

? A black and gold visor.

? And yes, a cowbell. In fact, there are two of them.
