Don't blame the newspaper. That seems like a problem for your S.I.D. or A.D. to handle. It is not that difficult. But most people tend to over compensate when it comes to attendance. There is never a correct one. It is always undercounted. With Clickers, turnstiles, infared scanners and numbered tickets with barcodes the count is always wrong.

Never did I blame the newspaper... that is just where I see the attendence the next day, since most of the time its not on the net under the box score.

The numbers are what each school reported and that's the bottomline, whether or not the use turnstiles, tickets, barcodes, or goldteeth count.
