SU?s Robinson wins long jump at regional

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ? Because she?s busy with so many events on the track and in the field, Southern University?s Monica Robinson rarely has had a chance to concentrate on just one or two ?until Friday, that is.
Robinson was qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regionals in four individual events and one relay, and the decision by coach Johnny Thomas to limit her to the long jump and 400-meter relay paid off in a big way at Tennessee?s Tom Black Track.
