Two important events went down this week in the Southern University baseball program.

One had all the subtlety of a fastball high and in.

That came Monday, when SU coach Roger Cador agreed to interview at Jackson State for its coaching vacancy. The meeting, which should include the school?s president, will likely be Thursday.

The other took the flight of a backdoor curve, just sneaky.

When the draft ended Wednesday, no current Jaguars were called. That?s the second straight year Southern hasn?t had a draft pick plucked from its roster after a run of 16, including Rickie Weeks and Fred Lewis, from 2002-04.

Now that I seen this..........................I don't know about being "surprised" if he took the JSU job.;)

Full schollies, NEW STADIUM, and a AD, (Braddy), at JSU that's a BASEBALL man first.
They went head to head for years against each other so you know the respect and trust is there.
.

Just have to wait on this soap opra to play out.

You left out the part out him getting paid decent coins and still being able to draw a pension from the State of LA.

if he wins....it's a win-win situation.....SU won't have any problem luring a coach also....

nothing really wrong here...

OH snap...........................you right.

Looking at it that way.....................Pension from the State of LA plus a salary from Jackson State....................WOW!! ...............a lotta $$$$$$$$ comming in for him.

Looking at the "fact's", JSU just might not be that hard of a choice for him right now.:D
