Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

+1. I'll be tuning in when it's announced. Good for you JState. Good for you SWAC.

I like. I really like. Positive exposure.

Aside: Y'all kickin' everybody's SWAC ass but Gram this fall. And too bad y'all won't be able to play vs Gram in the SCG and the 2nd place finisher will represent. :smh:

I agree, that's a nice picture BUT why not an entire offensive line? No reflection on JSU, but ESPN missed the boat on that one (at least I don't understand the logic/reason)

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

The po'dunk schools jealous.
ESPN hasnt heard of an Alcorn since McNair was slinging pigskins in the woods.
And what's a Bama A&M? They don't know.

It's sad how foolish adults get over something like this.
Idiots are posting their emotions as if this is the first time this has been threaded in this forum. This is like the third time it's been posted. I sure hate to see how you negroes are going to react when it airs

 This is great for the Conference & My Great #1 HBCU, JSU!

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

I'm wondering the same thing, Bigg. Pic just looks funny with just to left side of the line.

This camera shot/video will probably will be used as part of the intro. Edited down to something like when the camera is in tight on the center with the voice-over and then pans out until Casey and that "side" of the O-Line is visible with the rain pouring down.

And this means what in this thread.
Who GAS.

Nobody was even thinking about A@M until Bammas came in with their usual negative Bullshat. :smh:

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

My post has nothing to with Alabama A&M nor JSU. You folks are just sensitive. My post was a direct reflection of how they play us. Divide and conquer. The point being now that our conference is featuring a certain person as QB, they want to do a historic story on us. We produce some of the best players in the nation, yet no one show cases it until we are saved by the great white hope. If that offends you by me saying that, well you just have to offended. In no way did I positive or say anything negative about JSU.

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

Got damn idiots. :smh:

You are correct. There are a bunch of idiots in this world that comprehend the forrest for the trees. It's amazing how sensitive folks are without looking at the truth.

As SOON as I saw that, I thought, camera on right shooting left. :read: Head on w/ him over center barking out instructions, linemen pointing making adjustments, and pan towards tight-end.

I hope I'm right. I'm sure it's tastefully done and the effect will be awesome!!! QB'ing and being THE field general in a driving rainstorm? Hell, I'm jealous. :D lol

1. With all due respect, how do you know that this production will focus totally on Casey yet will have nothing to do with Jackson State?

2. PWCs have been using talented Black athletes for years so what is the problem with an HBCU using a talented White athlete?

3. Yeah, we do have some of the best players in FCS but none of them really have a storyline like Casey. I can assure you that if Casey was Black, just got out of jail, went to a PWC, and was slinging the ball all around the field while leading the nation in offense, ESPN would cover it as well. Everyone loves a redemption/2nd chance story. I don't care what color he is.

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

We need more white people in the SWAC.

Re: Casey and JSU on ESPN and College GameDay this Fall........

All I wanna' know is how or what produced the artificial thunder and lightning? :D

You got that right!
Media loves to run unique human interest stories, and Casey's life at JSU fits that.

Donald Driver just won the Superbowl this past year. Additionally, What Player Has Come Through The SWAC since McNair With His Type of Magnitude?

SEE FOLKS!!!! I've been saying that no matter who you produce, your reputation will always proceed you. Terrihault can be as good as a player as he wants to be but the SWAC REPUTATION of hiring, firing, being gangster with our business practices, etc. is catching up with us.

BTW, does Casey-O REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, look at JSU as a school that gave him a second chance or a school that he can just use as a stepping stone? There is a difference. Read it closely.

Driver left Alcorn 20 years ago. Po Alcorn and po braveheart123. Finding one famous name over the last decade and a half is hard ain't it?:snicker:

Doesn't really matter. Any athlete worth something is going to look at a school that is going to help them gain placement in the professional sports arena. Where you been? :retard:

Every conference has superstar calibre athletes with amazing numbers. The media ain't trying to write about every stud player with big stats. With Casey, he got that big story behind him on top of his big stats. Somebody mentioned Donald Driver. His story has been told, once it was learned that he and his family lived out of a car for a while and didn't know where their next meal was coming from. ESPN didn't have to come way to Jackson to find a white QB that threw for over 3000 yards and 30 TDs.

You are an idiot (I will be banned next week for saying that) but someone has to say it................

Where have u been black athletes use white schools all the time...Casey was offered by other FCS schools including Bama St. and a few FBS programs and chose JSU because he wanted to be here...and he is doing well ...if he is using JSU so be it because in turn JSU is winning with marketing and more exposure which means more money for JSU so thats a win-win....Casey is the new face of the SWAC he is taking the place of McNair and others...nobody in the conference is puttin up his type of numbers get with it or get lost....As black people we are some of the most sensitive race around...if more white players want to come to JSU and show their talents I have no problem as long as they can play...I am glad some you on this board have no say so at your prospective universities because you guys dont want to join the rest of the World....

To Crit, then why are HBCUs complaining about folks not giving back?

To JSUDMJ2004, You had to have marched in the band because no SWAC person who claims to know anything about SWAC Football would have ever made that statement and comparsion....:lmao::lmao::lmao:.

Casey is being featured on ESPN. Steve McNair was a BLACK athlete from a BLACK School finished 3rd in the Heisman. McNair had to work just that hard just to be featured. Please compare. CEEDOG's point of view does have some stability to stand on.

Oh one more thing, why does ESPN just now want to do a story on a SWAC athlete? They did the MEAC athlete a LONG Time ago (Refer to Leroy Van on Youtube). Didn't Gameday even televise live from a MEAC Rivalry Game?

The SWAC reputation has caught up with us. Our chickens are coming home to roost.....:smh::smh::smh::smh:.
